its funny because Full Frontal is the real Char, Casval was helped by Char during an escape from the Zabi family because they both looked exactly alike, in which they switched places allowing Casval "Char" to survive and take his place in the Zeon Military Academy. Once that happened Casval began to ware the iconic mask we all know because he knew the real Char had blue eyes and would be suspected if anyone noticed, and Full Frontal just so happens to look like Char and has blue eyes.
@CobraTrouser According to the Gundam Unicorn Novels, Full Frontal is a cyber-newtype clone of Casval Char, possessing all of his memories and personality traits. To my knowledge, nowhere is it said he is the other Char. The OVA team has teased that they may change Full Frontal's origin, but so far we don't what that change would be, or if there even will be a change.
@CobraTrouser As I recall according the Origin, Char Aznable had brown eyes, which is why Casval had to wear the mask so his blue eyes wouldn't be noticed. Also, as I recall, Kycilia Zabi had the "real" Char Aznable blown up thinking he was Casval after the two switched places.
It's funny how Full Frontal, the second coming of Char Aznable, cares about perfecting Haman's legacy, since Char Aznable was opposed to Haman Karn's ambition. I guess it is another difference between Full Frontal and Char Aznable.
@extraleague01 You have to remember, Full Frontal is manipulating the Zeon remnants here. He's trying to provoke them into battling the Federation, and having the Unicorn sortie so he learns the location of Laplace's Box. At the same time, he is not risking any of his forces. He's merely giving her false praise, even though he probably does not agree with anything Haman did. He's just as manipulative as Char himself was in Char's Counterattack.
Yes, I agree with everything you said. Char was indeed manipulative in CCA. He was less of an a**hole before 2nd Neo Zeon War, genuinely caring about his men. I guess things he experienced through Gryps Conflict and what he observed during 1st Neon Zeon War changed him into a more villainous man. As for Full Frontal, I haven't read the novels and don't want any spoilers, but I think Full Frontal is a 100% bastard, as Banagher probably felt.
@extraleague01 I wouldn't say 100% bastard. He reminds me sort of a Lelouch type character, who sees manipulation as being necessary to achieving the "greater good".

@SWASDN you are certainly right about the last part but it is Char Aznable who had the blue eyes not Casval, which is why he had to ware the mask.
CobraTrouser 3 weeks ago
@CobraTrouser Well, that Char isn't canon according to Sunrise, so making him Full Frontal doesn't make much sense.

@SWASDN just saying, I thought it was interesting.
