  • i changed the picture on the character selection menu, but how do you change the picture on the bottom of the screen when your battleling, (besides the damage ratio or # of lives you have)

  • @JayRamaX I will make a tutorial but I broke my arms it might be 6 weeks till I can make a tutorial.

  • @markakramgirgis thanks, can't wait! hope you get better also!

  • @JayRamaX Thank You Very Much! :D

  • @JayRamaX Iv'e decided to start make these tutorials again so I'll make sure yours is the first tutorial I make.

  • THANKS YOU!!!!!!!!!! YOU'RE THE BEST!!! :D

  • @markakramgirgis. what version of brawlbox are you using?? I've tried everything and it just doesn't work. The brawlbox works fine, but when I put the SD on the wii, and when I go into a brawl battle, just before the selection screen shows up it freezes and the wii makes a really loud "beep" noise.

  • @emmanuel160290 I have the same problem with one character in brawl but thank you for pointing that out it might be the version.anyways the version here is Brawl Box V0.63d just search on google I think its the first one there

  • @markakramgirgis Yeah. I have that version too. By the way, it happens with jigglypuff and peach

  • @emmanuel160290 wait what program are you using to make the csps?

  • @markakramgirgis Brawlbox, same as you. But never mind, I now know where the problem was, already solved it. The size of the file sc_selcharacter I was using was bigger than 3,975,244 bytes. It can't surpass that limit.

  • @emmanuel160290 maybe thats the same problem im having thanks for pointing that out.

  • @markakramgirgis No prob (:

When using common5, you need to export the sc_selcharacter_en file and make sure it's not bigger than 3,975,244 bytes. The problem lies exactly in the files under char_bust_tex_lz77, with the the portraits. If you replace just one or two portraits, there won't be any problems. The problem occurs when you replace more portraits. So what I did was edit the portraits in photoshop and save it as a 20 KB or bigger file, and reduce the colors to 128. And it looked great.

  • @HeroChao132 Are you taking a video or a picture you take a picture by pausing the screen and then(if using a gamecube controller) hit Z or (If using a wii remote)Hit A. Or the problem could be that your in the wrong folder the folder is suppposed to be called AL and you need a program called SSBB Photo Dycripter.

  • @markakramgirgis When I heard you say "Photo converter" I deleted this comment. It's all good now.

  • @sbunch57 Got a new microphone. You wanted me to do the csp right?

  • @sbunch57 Okay then thank you for your patients!I will keep you entertained.

  • @sbunch57 It could take a bit though i need a new microphone

  • @sbunch57 Thank you for asking!Luckily i do know how ill try to make a toutorial ASAP

  • Same here. I edited and replaced the CSPs, I have common5.pac in the pf/system folder and they do not show up in Brawl.

  • @Snowyskyfilms What program are you editing with?

  • thnx i got it to work now =) this is a good video.

  • i got 2 question if u could answer me..

i downloaded the common5 pac..should i have it somewhere saved in my sd card? if i do..where should i save it?

Can i use paint to edit this? ( i dont have anything better lol)

  • @TheTelk 1.common5 should be kept in your system folder in pf it will work trust me.

2.I have never used that program to edit i use photoshop but you can get gimp i will put that in the description thank you.

  • @markakramgirgis ok i placed my common5 in the system folder and used paint to edit the image, i replaced and checked everything was right...when i try to play brawl the screen freezes at the "loading..." part. whats going on?

btw i noticed when u were editing the image the background was..if i am correct.."transparent" but the background i have is white.. must it be transparent to work? if it needs to be, i am not sure if i can do that in paint.

  • @TheTelk thats why you need gimp or net paint(thats not ms paint) because if you

don't make it transperent it wont work and ms paint cant make things transparent.Besides the programs i mentioned are free.
