He is very much a Corellilike tenor. Beautiful timbre, great phrasing, full of feelings. I love him.
Perhaps Franco had even more fascinating high notes. Jonas's messa di voce on the last high B flat is great! Jozsef Simandy could do tha teven better on the last note of Celeste Aida.
Oh this just outstanding!!!! To sing "Oh vien" starting in piano, letting it grow into forte and take it back again and all this in a life performance. Phantastic! One of a kind. Thank you so much, sharing it with us.
