Obama is blessed and he is gonna make america from bad to good.
heathcare for every body not only for people that are rich. so say bye bye greedy people. its one for all and all for one. obama is the first president that is tryiing to be a honest good president , may god protect him from bad people
We in Australia have had a national health scheme since 1973. It coexists with the private providers. When you go to your doctor, you either pay nothing for treatment or a small gap. You go to public hospital, the use of the hospital is free. You don't go broke getting basic treatment. What O'Reilly says seems so unreal to me. Its like listening to a Martian telling me life on Earth stinks and I should moved to the Moon.
Blame it on the blacks, that's classic. I thought the reason was America's great abundance of obese, dumb, blue-collar type rednecks who drink, smoke, and over eat their entire worthless lives. And then when they get sick they find that their private healthcare does not supply full coverage. Hence all of the bankruptcies. The private insurance companies care no more about you then the government, obviously you are to blind to see that.
What you are choosing to overlook is the fact that many of the bigger companies do not have much competition within certain states, due to govt regulation. Ultimately, these companies care about making money. Allow more competition to exist in the marketplace, and these companies are bound to have to start caring more about us.
But why I am arguing with someone who chooses to attack the exterior of people rather than their intellect, I don't know.
I am not sure if you are replying to me, but if you are then obviously you have never had the unfortunate experience of having to grow up among American rednecks. They are some of the dumbest, ugliest, self-destructive idiots that walk this earth. Thank god I live in Europe now
bill needs to take his own advice when it comes to big gov micro managing us. he still supports the drug war. a federal waste of money time and life. better for states to regulate on their own, their own habits.
The ones trying to stop Health Care Reform are scared, willfully ignorant yokels being bused in and given their marching orders by shills working for big insurance companies. These are sad people who are clueless and angry about it.
They would rather trust their lives to an insurance co. board then a government run and managed by their fellow citizens.
Aging, bloated dinosaurs. Roaring out their last frenzined bellows of puzzled rage. That's what's driving them bugfuck nuts. Fat-assed, too.
Citizens should have the ability to choose private or public health care.
Universal health care is a human right and should be implemented on the state level with an efficient and reasonable tax. Let each state decide if they want it. END federalism.
States rights!
If a state does not want it then it's their RIGHT not to have it imposed on them. But, they get NOTHING in tax welfare from the other states.
Wow. Another dumb shit you shoots the word, "liberal" around like a toddler who calls other kids "stupid head". I'm sooo shocked. I'm willing to bet that you don't even know where the word liberal comes from and how the political philosophy has evolved in academe over the past 300 years. Did I make a pathetic shot...? Yeah, I did. Then again, you are the one who's commented about pedophilia and moose fucking, so if you want to talk about irrelevant ad hominem attacks, then FUCK YOU!
mwolf: "Liberal" has become a pejorative term; it's why people on the Left now call themselves "progressives".
If you look at the dictionary definition of "liberal" it's a very good thing. The problem is that "liberalism" as a political philosophy in the US is a very bad thing...and has nothing to do with the dictionary definiton. Here's what "liberalism" is in America:
-Reactionary support for failed 60s era programs.
-fanatical ideology akin to religious fundamentalism
I know, eh! Thank you for sharing that. Is that actually a dictionary definition? I've been calling reform liberals and even neo-liberals progressives since I was a freshman.
America was born out of classical liberalism. It was John Locke's liberal political philosophy that people like Jefferson and Payne took a page from. They believed in the government protecting negative LIBERties. Those are the freedoms FROM harm as opposed to the freedom TO assistance. Quite right wing.
Well then keep trying to prove me wrong, McCain's whore. The world disagrees with you, which may be related to the fact that the world would be a better place if you would suffocate the next time you suck your dead father's cock.
Ins co's deny claims for no reason, making up pre-existing conditions that aren't that, so it is necessary for an alternative to this. And the US doctors bills are way too high.
O'r is struggling for breath on Fox as he tells porky pies about how the health plan is "coll'g"--see the guy's body lang as he knows he has to read off another fabrication of his employers' masters. The body language of O'r is clear, and; his insurance is covered.
Since American is leading the world in charitable acts Osama Obama should use that to his advantage. He should just make a law stating that those charity funds remain in the States and used for the American citizens only, Then there wouldn't be a need for some dumb tax increase, but ofcourse me saying this will rage some others thinking we have some obligations towards people in other nations! OBAMINATION!
Shut the fuck up, you belligerent prick. I ask once again, what the does females working in medicine have to do with universal health coverage? How in the fuck do you think that social scientists don't take factors like homicide into account (as if that compares to people who die from strokes, heart disease, cancer, etc)?
Both of those rates for homicide seem a little low.
Do you not see how the entire industrialized world criticizes healthcare, and all you can do is rationalize.
No you are absolutely clueless. I'm a criminology masters student. I'm well aware of the differences in handgun deaths between Canada and the U.S. You on the other hand are impervious to criticizing your own belief. You must be if you think that academics are so clueless that they allow the violent crime rate to act as a measure of healthcare accessibility and quality of service. At one point you even "cited" a statistic about the number of women becoming doctors as if that had relevance.
Listen to yourself. You're speaking as if the homicide rate AND the collision rate is so different from Canada's. Canada loses about 600 people to homicide per year, while America loses about 18 000. Now America is about 9 times the size, but per capita, the difference is not astounding. Look at countries like Brazil, South Africa, and Columbia. Those are outliers. Young people do not die on a scale comparable to cancer and heart disease victims, who tend to be much older.
How can you possibly blame the GOP if health care reform fails to pass? We have a Democrat in the white house and liberals control the Senate as well as the House. Oh yeah, liberals also have a filibuster proof majority, which means that even with 100% Republican opposition, the Democrats could still pass it.
If and when it fails the blame should be placed on the "moderate" Democrats.
it's funny how Republicans cry about how Liberals and Democrats run the Senate and the House and blah blah! Guess wut..welcome to what OUR world was like for the 8 years previously when Bush was in Office. Now it's ur turn...you poor poor Republicans. Jeez...gimme a break!
Obama is for socialized health care because he won't have to live with that "care." He and Congress will still get special care. That's the way it works for Marxists.
It's not exactly an easy task to do a global study, but the next time it does, let's see if the European countries drop and the U.S. goes up with the same shock. And if you want to even bring in the murder rate. Canada's rate is at about 2 per 100 000, while America's is closer to 5.6. How is this really effecting life expectancy!?
ROTFLMFAO! I'm aware the data is nine years old. Are you trying to tell me Pookie, that over the last nine years as our economy has worsened our health care has improved by leaps and bounds? The only one bullshitting here is you.
What are you talking about. What in the hell does women practicing medicine have anything at all to do with a government health plan. And furthermore, what seems more benevolent, a doctor practicing medicine to make a shit load of money, or a government that implements legislation for people who can't afford healthcare? And I'm cukoo!?
I already told you, Booster, I'm not an Obama fan. I have no interest in personally defending him. But you obviously missed that memo that the systems in Canada and the UK are MUCH more efficient than ours. Just go to the fuckin WHO website. Jesus Christ...
Having CEO's decide if there going to pay medical bills and have less for there bonus and shareholders.... hummm and we can vote them out of office. We don't have the funds to fight them. They just let us die and take our money. Makes Berard Madoff look like a saint.
LMFAO! Apparently though, we still have hundreds of billions for the war machine. Did you have any problem with that? What IS real healthcare reform? I certainly don't see anyone in the mainstream suggesting insurance companies be turned into nonprofits. Almost all the scare tactics being used against a public health option are ACTUAL problems occurring under policy of health insurance companies. I agree, though. It IS unlikely to pass.
Clearly you're another pig-headed American who needs to read up. Take a look at the World Health Organization's ranking of health care systems by nation. This is a ranking system based on quality of care, ACCESSIBILITY, and other criteria. You will find that the top nations all have UNIVERSAL COVERAGE PLANS! I'm from Canada. Are the wait times longer? Yes. Are there a few horror stories? Yes. Yet these issues are outweighed all the people without coverage!
Check the list. You'll find America below Canada and well below the U.K. But it's only the WHO (sarcasm). Another thing, my parents work in health care. Almost all Canadian doctors that I've heard of make $150 000 to $750 000 a year. If you need more than that to save human lives, then you're a selfish piece of shit, and I don't want to entrust my health and safety to you. Other countries seem to be doing just fine with health populations.
social engineering is as necessary as social taxes to a degree. You elected him, and you pay the price. The American people are not forced into creating a more fair healthcare system any more than they were forced to give up the money for the Iraq war.
