@JKTyeahPAPA all samoans that are fluent at our language have an english accent. it was due to the fact that the british had founded our country so the accent is somewhat inherited. its more of like a kiwi accent also if their english is really bad lol i kno cuz im samoan w/o an accent tho lol i wish i had one tho

@niupati Actually, no, I live in New Zealand and I'm friends with exchange students from the old country and their accents sounds more American. If they didn't tell me they were Samoan, I'd have assumed they were Hispanic. When the Prime Minister speaks English, he could pass for a kiwi, but then again he was educated here.

By the way, I'm used to hearing the hybrid Samoan accent in hybrid with the New Zealand/Australian/American accent, but not the English. Awesome accent, uce!

This takes some getting used to; I'm so used to seeing Samoans playing for the all blacks and for, of course, manu samoa, and now, with digby ioane, only recently for Oz. A samoan playing for - of all places - the poms, and a samoan who speaks like a pom is so unusual. Anglo-Samoan indeed.
