  • I've actually seen Shin live as Calaf, and I'm afraid I didn't find him overly impressive. Nice Bs and Cs, of course, but he couldn't act worth a flip.

  • produccion muy buena, vamos Wani 78 a muchos nos encantaria verla completa

  • Great Calaf, I just love his voice. Maybe not as good as Placido, obviously, but good!!!!!

  • what a great calaf!

  • FANTASTIC! I hope I can see the whole show!!!

  • I like Sopranos. I really do.

  • what a fantastic production- I would love to see the whole thing!

  • wow. that production looks amazing.

  • Very beautiful production. The Turandot clearly fits the physical necessity for the role but also the voice. More believable even if only for the Korean singers.

  • the Turandot is very interesting, a very strong, bright and piercing voice, but not the usual heavy dramatic one we expect for this role.

  • thanks for posting this. a very beautiful production and solid singing. in spite of what iltenore says, mr. shin has a pretty good international career.

  • I just sang with Dongwon Shin in the Nashville Opera Trovatore. He has an impressive voice and is a good actor.

  • Wow......you are a tenor too?

  • If you mean me, yes, I am a tenor. I sing with the Nashville Opera chorus and the Nashville Symphony chorus. I have sung many opera performances including two productions each of Turandot, Aida, Trovatore, and Carmen.

  • Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow. I am an opera lover too, especially, quite maniac for tenor voices! I dream of becoming operatic tenor too someday...but as for now, I sing as a hobby some neapolitan and arias. Please see my videos and what do you think of my voice? can I be operatic tenor? do I have the potential? I have no singing class or lessons so dar, and I cant read musical notations at all sadly. Waiting for your reply!

    Handrio.

  • If this is the worst Calaf you've seen, you haven't seen many Calafs!

  • why the worst? he has the notes, and he acted quite okay. he was good man.

  • no kissing scene in the end? wtf?!

  • @iltenoredramatico - They may be shy, but you're just a bastard.

  • Bravo! Hermosas voces, hermosa puesta! mis felicitaciones!!
