actually, Adelina is struggling a bit these season because she is having a growth spurt and is affecting her jumps, last season she won all the international junior competitions and never lost to other skaters even to Elizaveta. hopefully she will get to adjust to her body changes soon.
I agree Adelina is an all around skater and as she gets older
her maturity skating and technical skills she could be one of the most successful skaters.
@hwhap13 i think your comments are way too premature. i agree that adelina has talent, but now she needs the competition experience. don't forget, she's only a teenager. 2014 is a ways away and a lot could happen in her life leading up to the olympics in sochi.
She should fire her dress designer and she should improve on her lutz cause she is having the same problem has mao. If she does not fix it now, it would be quite impossible to fix.

She could get rid of the red tights, it's a bit much with her red dress. Her jumps and spins are just goregous. I'm sorry that Elizaveta didn't do better in the short program, because that could have turned out to be a bit of a battle. She defintely showed with this program that she it was her title for a reason, and they have to take it from her if they want it.
For Soshi she still needs to beat Elizaveta and Julia Lipnitskaya, those two are way better than Adelina

but Adelina will not only have to keep pace with Elizaveta and Julia
she will have to pass Polina Korobeynikova, Shelepen, Leonova and others.
the russian ladies skaters field is very deep and there is no assurance who will be the top 3 for the 2014 OLYMPICS

If she keeps skating like this the Sochi Olympic title is hers to lose. Fascinating girl, outstanding talent and some of the best skating ever.
See her LP from the Russian Nationals 2011. That was extraordinary on so many levels!
