Never got to see the Ethiopians but i did see the Skatalites in Harlesden, London a few years back, feauring the great Roland Alphonso on sax. And i can include Rupie Edwards as one of my good friends, i haven't been able to see him for a few months but the last time i did he was looking good and taking care of buisness at his reggae shop in Dalston.

Keep posting your tunes, i am going to get a few of my top 7's on when i get a chance.
