@nintendonerdgoodbad2 No it is not... I think it was Fernendez when he had an engine problem, but was in second place and simply could not keep up with the first so they had to try again 3 or 4 times.... I do not remember the race.

My roommate tried to claim the Kentucky Derby was way better than the Indy 500. I know the Derby is a big deal but seriously; its 2 and a half hours of pre-race hype and then 30 seconds of horses running one lap. This stuff is way better

Yeah, it's like debating which is better, pizza or hot dogs. The thing is, they're just different. Both are very old, midwestern traditions, both are great. I've been going to Indy for almost 20 years straight, so I'm partial to it. You win the Derby, people only remember your horse. You win the 500, and your face is put on the trophy! It IS the greatest spectacle, bar none.

Haha, we'll see about that. Whenever a team puts its chances on the shoulders of one player (Pryor), anything can happen. Hopefully the Boilers can find a future with this new coach.

@trep1911 It was a long time ago, but it looks like I was talking about the Kentucky Derby topic that THEkingjaymz brought up, during which I called the 500 "the greatest spectacle, bar none." Then he mentioned something about Purdue vs. Ohio State, to which I replied. Does that clear things up? It was an amicable conversation between two Indy 500 fans, not necessarily about the 500 itself. This year will be my 20th consecutive 500, so chill.

i seriously have the best seats ever!! I sit in turn 3 so you can see turn 2, the backstretch, turn 3, turn 4, and part of the frontstretch. i seriously love the 500. i get goosebumps every year!!!

the start wasn't the best in Indy with it being single file......but it was still INDY
