I loved every moment of this! The beginning was too hilarious for words! Does he really practice like that? It's so funny....I imagined myself taking singing lessons from Michael Jackson but wouldn't not be able to get passed the beginning, because I would be laughing so much!!! Thanks so much for this video...MJ was a truly great artist and his loss is like the end of an era. However until now we've only ever seen the end product - a polished gem, in a song. Now that I hear him practise I realize just how much effort and time went into polishing that gem and keeping it shiny. An inspiration to all budding artists out there.

when you are doing the vocal sounds he is, it doesn't matter who is doing them, you are always going to sound *different*..you try doing them and tell me you sound like you when you play it back... These vocal training files are the Real Michael Jackson..Not fake at all..

I see where you're coming from...I wondered at first too...then it was obvious...this is MJ practicing...in songs he sings a tune and melody - all put together...here he's doing the vocal warm up and scales...so it doesn't sound like the MJ in songs we know...but if you listen - this is his voice....some sexay low notes and those high ones...what a range...what a talent we've lost!

Ha ha, why would he sing like the warmup excersices live...? Same organ produces the sound in all techniques. Maybe you are confusing technique and style? Maybe you should try the technique with a certefied SLS-teacher? CVT is a waste of time if you're really looking to extend your range...

i extend my range alot with cvt and they teach how to do effects like growling and stuff. mj uses alot of growling and stuff live and growling is absolutely taboo with seths riggs method. But his warm up excersices are great.
