  • @dbu43...hang in there and ignore these fools(who know who you are.) America is great because of it's soldiers. We have an excellent military with an inspiring history. People who talk shit here are just pissed because they know that wherever they are from sucks.

  • Wait.......what just happened?.......I thought this was just a pic till there were trucks coming from the background.

  • Strykers are sitting ducks, regardless of the firepower they carry. Limited to 30mph on roads. Where's the advantage wheels have over tracks? None! Should have stuck with the M-113.

  • @dilprai u make me fcking laugh. U actually think the show "deadliest warrior " actually proves anything. Ur Nepalese ass would get beaten with ur yak if you dared to brave the u.s. forces. So go piss on the toilet seat you crooked toothed Nepalese niggardly bitch

  • Wow, that was amazing????????????? you owe me 40 seconds of my life!!!

  • The only reason Americans have armored vechiles is their not suicidal idiots who want to die and the U.S has been doing a great job and Americas a super power for a reason!

  • haha yeah they probably got the sniper NOT, they maybe would if he didnt have 10 minutes to go home have a beer, chill a litle, hear a bang from far away and go, "allready?" That gun is a sitting duck in the midle of the streets. if the enemy had just the slightest amount of military training, that gun would be scattered on rooftops, streetcorners and balconys.

  • @RepBosnaHercergovina ...and yet the gun wasn't scattered. Obviously, the enemy hadn't the slightest amount of military training. And the reason infantry always deploys with armor, especially in built up areas is to protect the armor.

  • @RepBosnaHercergovina in the event you have eye issues, look behind the vehicle prior to the round going off there is already a shell casing on the ground. the first round went into a wall that hes was shooting from ...dead the second round was a spotter....dead. last but not least " IF THE WORD IF WAS A FIFTH WE WOULD ALL BE A DRUNK AND IF I WERE 250 LBS, 6'6" AND RAN A 4 SEC 40 YARD DASH I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN IN THAT VEHICLE I WOULD BE A PRO FOOTBALL PLAYER LIVING IN ATLANTA

  • @RepBosnaHercergovina Do you think before speaking? Where are large trucks usually, other than the middle of the street? How would it be a sitting duck? Is some one going to run up to it, and put c4 on it? This isn't Battlefield 3 buddy.

  • @badboy4202 No, it is definetly not Battlefield 3, buddy. What makes you think that? I know what i am talkin about i joined the armed resistance here in Bosnia from 1992-95, i was drafted into a paramilitary formation, deployed in and around Sarajevo. The serbs used to do the exact same thing with their bmp-3s and t-84 tanks, once i was in a squad and we were gonna flank the gun, about the same position as this, it took too hits from our AT squads, we were using Zloljas, the Yugoslav answer to..

  • @badboy4202 AT4 rocket launcher, the entire crew burned up inside it and at the infrantry deployed with it was taken as POWs because their support teams pulled out like the cowards serbs are. Later the 18 guys we took as POWs we released for 21 of our own guys. So i think i have enough knowledge of urban warfare to last me 3 lifetimes. Its not my fault that the Iraqis suck at war, anyone who brings that shit to Sarajevo, will bring it out piece by piece later on.

  • @RepBosnaHercergovina

The Stryker has had good success surviving rpg-7s in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Plus the Americans have much more experience applying close air support to the type of situation you describe.

  • The fact is, America messed it up. We should've gone for world conquest back in the early '90s, when the former Soviet Union was in chaos but *before* they sold all their hardware to anyone who could afford it, and we still had a massive military budget and public support to spare. Now it's 20 years later, we have no money, and the message has been lost (even if that message was just "let's get all the oil for ourselves"). Missed our chance. Damn shame. China's gonna get it now.

  • Some of you guys piss me off when you say American soldiers are cowards my many people in my family have died in the army including my dad and grandfather I'm only 13 years old and when I see the comments calling them cowards it really pisses me off my dad was not killed in a vehicle but I wish he was in something that offered him protection and maybe he would be here today with me and my mom and 2 sisters so when some of y'all call us cowards because we have armored vehicles just think if my d

  • @dbgu43 Hey best regards to you and your family. Dearly sorry for your loss man, but I hope you just understand that I'm someone probably miles away from you who truly respects your fathers military services. Thanks so much man, sure your dad would be proud that your representing him in such an honorable fashion.

  • @dbgu43 Well said young man, but you shouldn't mind comments made by fools. in Ireland we have a saying "empty vessels make the most noise". The whole of Europe would now be speaking either German or Russian if it wasn't for the sacrifices of men like your grandfather.

Be proud and stay away from the comments of these fools, take care and have a happy Christmas.

  • Wow. I need one of those quickly. Deer season is almost over.

  • wooeee time to git sum beer. thats amrrica.

  • I can just those idiot muslims all hiding behind a car or wall thinking you can get me !

Then boom everyone is hamberger !

  • Thats how we do it in the USA:)

  • Every body wants to sue the Army for trying to kill them . Is it true alot desertion?

  • At the beginning of the vid I thought it was just a picture with sounds... how did you get the camera to be so stable?

  • Comment removed

  • thats one big frickin cannon :D

  • Cool

  • Bye,Bye sucker...

  • Ferchrissakes, put a 120mm AMOS mortar-gun before somebody gets hurt. Like being in the vicinity of a high-velocity 105 going off.

Seriously, why a 105? Ask any grunt if he'd prefer to have a direct/indirect fire support organic to his unit, or a flat-firing 10 that is overkill for 90% of fire support missions. Plus a 12 round capacity? !?

  • @iThinkThereforeiCan its all about how much you wanna spend on the system.

  • The Re-Inforcements rollin' up were like, "Oh Shit!, Brake, Brake..."

  • It's 54 cents versus a few hundred dollars. If that shell was not thousand dollars.

  • what kind of 105mm ammos are normally issued for urban combat?

  • @milvipes i think heat, hesh or mpat.

btw. iam not a friend of the stryker

  • @milvipes The same one you get in jungle combat or mountain combat or...well you get the picture.

  • All we need now to make this war interesting just like the Americans did for the Afghanis against the soviets... Is for someone to donate to the Afghanis and Iraqis some usable anti-take disposable launchers of the HEAT kind, and then lets see how easy the Americans go about stealing a nations resources... :P

  • @TATARSTAN59500 That's ok it hates you to

  • you should be ashamed, invading other people's countries on behalf of oil companies. i bet there was no sniper in that building. probably a family home you decided to level for fun.

just glad America is falling apart at the seams - disgusting nation of pigs. China will be a better superpower for everyone.

  • @MustNotRead I bet you you accuse people of stupid shit on the net to feel better about your own pathetic life.

  • @MustNotRead >implying the US invaded for oil. Ever hear of OPEC? It stands for Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, which Iraq was a part of. OPEC sets the prices for all oil leaving the Middle East, so to control the flow of oil and the cost thereof, the US would need to control every OPEC member nation, and I really don't think they've invaded Iran, Nigeria, or the UAE (among others). Fun fact, any 11th grade history book in the US could have told you all this and more.

  • @plyinglemon

What's OPEC got to do with using the tax-payer's military to invade a country, install a puppet government and then get the puppet to give you (and your oil company friends) the right to mine and basically own a country's oil reserve? You linear thinking is not only linear, it's 11th grade-like.

  • Comment removed

  • @MustNotRead I say again, the US controlled zero oil in that country, that is what OPEC has to do with it, OPEC controlled the flow of oil from when it was first pumped out of the ground to the second it was sold. The US could not have invaded for oil because if they did, OPEC would go to the WTO and the WTO would go to the UN, economic sanctions would follow and the US would be in quite the hole. Have you even read up on the event at all on a source that is not horribly biased?

  • @plyinglemon

OPEC are, like you say, are flow/price fixers. They squeeze as much profit for their "members" as possible, basically. And if you think OPEC represent nations, people and the consumer - you're living in a naive daydream. They represent the interests of Oil companies, who in turn control politicians, who in turn invade countries for their oil buddies and install puppets that will "do business" with particular companies oil companies.

  • @plyinglemon

Of course, there are many other reasons which contribute to the invasion of unwesternized nations. Most of them have to do with resources and enhancing the economic infrastructure for industry and corporation. NONE of it has anything to do with "fighting terrorism".

Anyway, I'm not getting into a dumb-ass debate on YT about this. You have your opinion and I have mine and you'd never convince me to believe your "authorized" mainstream version of events.

  • @MustNotRead I really do hope you are trolling or twelve.

  • @MustNotRead Heh...you took the red pill didnt you?

  • @MustNotRead reeeetardddd!

  • @MustNotRead AMEN to that, to each their own.

  • @MustNotRead Well you fucking caught us...we just wanty to blow shit up for the oil tycoons.

You told us off really good-did it help you get laid?

  • "Shooting with cannons at sparrows.", like we Germans would say. It's comparable to "Taking a sledgehammer to crack a nut.".

I wonder what happens if a real main battle tanks appears? Does somebody request a B-2 bomber from overseas at Whiteman Air Force Base or what?! Or what about pests like rats or camel spiders in the soldier's accomondations? Do they use Javelin ATGMs then??? Well, must be kinda funny i guess... :-D

  • @TheBigTittyTwister no, its just the U.S military : )

  • @TheBigTittyTwister No, but I do think most tankiers would give their left nut for something like you describe-a real love enemy tank!

  • bye bye sniper

  • you would think that they would have quickly learned that a rifle round will not defeat an armored vehicle meant to survive IEDs.... but i guess not

  • Do you realize that bullet to a snipers bullet is 105x bigger

  • Allah Akbar mother fuckers, get some.

  • Smash 1? That's the best callsign for an MGS, ever.

  • lol, like a photo when start the video

  • that snipe obviously never saw "saving private ryan"

  • @bamarine247 oh yeah, say hi to my cannon and boOm xD

  • @bamarine247 And now he never will.

  • Why not quickscope it?

  • I love it how the case of the second shot exactly hits the one from the first shot. So precise, they could place an empty ammunition box there, for easier recycling.

  • Way to go soldier. Carry on.

  • victory by overwhelming force!!!

  • That is one bad looking A.C. Take that Habib!!

  • @Shitraver its a Stryker MGS its basically a 105mm gun mounted on the Stryker IFV. Its not a tank at all its an infantry support weapon

  • i want this in call of duty.

go america! and thank you jesus for dying on the cross so we can kill the nay sayers

  • @BFinFlavin play Bad Company 2, u can use the tanks and whatnot. also in Battlefield 3 it'll be a lot better. coming soon :D

  • isnt it kind of a bad idea having a shell pop out like that? wouldnt it make the vehicle more vulnerable? and wouldnt it also be a waste of brass? w/e they use for shell casings?

  • @Tagger24

    In short: No.

Vehicle is basically fucked if AT larger than rpg-7 hits it, and even those can destroy it in one shot if it doesn't have the "batters cage" that you see the one in the vid has.

You have to have a shell to fire a bullet, which is the same principle a cannon uses and a rifle.

  • @tattat44 oh so the flap doesnt matter but its still a waste. the shell was originally stored in there somehow, why not keep it in there for reloading and saving millions of dollars?

same with guns. soldiers are only issued a certain number of clips//shells. why not save the shells, put them back in the clip pouches, and save money by reloading them?

  • 1) Can't keep it in there, what if you need to reload?

    2) Army gets a metric fuck-ton of cash and gives no shit. They can make a million more if it amuses them.

    3) Soldiers are concerned with being deadly, not environmentally friendly.

    4) Defense contractors get lots of scratch to make product, can you imagine if it was all suddenly reusable?

    5) Catch brass? How? Issue every soldier a plastic baggie to attach to his receiver? Waste precious minutes scratching the dust for spent casings?

  • @Tagger24 you are definitely mentally instable

  • @sargesss how??

  • @Tagger24 im talking to tattal44 i reply at the wrong person sorry :P

  • @sargesss oh. ok xD and btw its unstable and instability, not instable =P

  • @Tagger24 sorry im french and we say tu es mentalement instable so i just didnt really know how to express myself, thanks for the info

  • lol i love when the shell drops out. its like 'whatup'

  • Hey! Why send a boy to do a man's job? It got 'er done, and that's what counts

  • Owned

  • i love it, random shooting, i guess instead of asking me your going to assume. random shooting means one shot but since there is a shell casing behind my vehicle already there must be a target, p.s i am overwatched by dismounts

  • Just anouther BS video. The lack of comm and any urgency indicate this was nothing but random shooting. The second vehicle coming in was just diddling along. It did not zip in and assume overwatch.

  • haha stupid diaper heads should stick to hearding sheep

  • It would have been nice to see fried juba

  • lol didnt know this was a video till tank fired

  • Was it you that fired those rounds? Pretty cool video, would love to see more.

  • "Get some!" :D

  • where is the sniper :))

  • your auto loader takes forever

  • they took fucking long

  • @mamypokopants In this video the already killed the sniper with a tank round they didnt film it though the round you just saw fired was just for good measure

  • just wondering if you could have a shot at for an example t-72 do you think that the 105 would be enough to penetrate the armor?

  • @sweetdavid123456789

What do you mean by t72 ? Russian ones, sure not. T72BM can stop a M829a1, so...

But a cheap monkey model or even worst, clone in steel, of course it will, at any distance

  • @PATRONSKiii

it can penetrate the hull, M829a1 was used in Desert Strom, very effective aganist t-72, in 1993 Army fielded M829a2 and in 2003 M829A3 that easy defeat Kontakt-5 ERA used on T-90, so Russians start to develop Kaktus type ERA, which is currently only seen on prototype tanks such as the Black Eagle tank( t-95) - never seen or photographed.

  • @sweetdavid123456789 definatly not soviet ones. and depends which version and how well its armoured

  • GET SOME!

  • I'd just like to say it sounds pretty unnecessary for such a huge gun to be fired at a sniper and that it took too long, sniper probably would of ran if they saw that beast.

  • the sniper is in a 2 story window in the back of the room, the kill shot had already been fired, before the gun shoots look behind it on the ground, you'll see a shell casing this is a second round to clear the room out of all other threats

  • @tankcommander33 nicely done

  • @tankcommander33 nicely done

  • @JointTaskForce23 No its not, When a sniper is taking shots at you, Its almost impossible to move without getting killed or wounded, The best way to kill a sniper is with Heavy Explosives or an air strike.

  • @JointTaskForce23 hey, its less destructive and cheaper then a JDAM dropped from a JET, witch they use to kill snipers all the time, but it ends up destroying the block

  • @JointTaskForce23 Entirely necessary. In war, you go with what works and what you have. And if you've got a 105 on you, definitely use it.

  • @JointTaskForce23 naa it wouldnt u be surprised snipers are slient killers the tank would no where it would be it is got a silencer on the sniper

  • @JointTaskForce23 So you would have walked out there with your SAW and taken that sniper, eh? Okay buddy, whatever you say. Its people like you that would have made the Juba videos then thinking snipers are not dangerous enough to avoid all contact with!

  • @JointTaskForce23 unnecessary? it's a tool. we use it. we kill them. end.

  • @JointTaskForce23 it kills people. so does a sniper rifle. unnecessary? not really

  • I like how it takes a large metal dump each time it fires.

  • do u have to get permission to fire every time u see a target, does that ever get annoying

  • no you don't only when time permits. i had already fired a round before this one once i identified the shooter the second round was into the room he fired from to kill anyone else that may have been in the room that one i gave the dismounts on the ground a warning

  • @tankcommander33 im not a soldier or anything, but on this video, it seem that the gunner takes his time to fire the gun, doesnt it give more time for the sniper to relocate or leave the area??

  • look behind the mgs before sou start the video, see the tube on the ground, that round hit the sniper behind the wall looking though a hold about 6 inches wide. immediate threat is gone however there is a spotter in the window, we saw him and fired a round into the window.

  • @tankcommander33 ahhh awesome. thanks =)

  • @tankcommander33 thanks for your service, cool video

  • yeah if thats true thats pretty lame.

  • @spazoflondon it depends,

if ur trying to kill a high ranking official you would need permission to fire or sometimes tanks need permission

it depends on an important person there shooting at or building, etc.

  • be good if NZ had these to complement our LAVs. Makes me laugh how people are still compareing this to abrams even tho it is clearly slated for a different role. funnier still are people like nomorenarcicissm who constantly rubbish LAV purely because it is not tracks and believes the whole Iraq/Afghan problem can be solved with a M113. Just the sight of a 105mm gun turning up will make me think twice about acting up and I would not care how it rolled into town

  • BOOM! Ping! Dead

  • people do not get this video confused. i have already fired a round into the second story window with positive identification of a male with a rifle at the back of the room. before i shoot the round in the video you will see a shell casing of the round that we killed the sniper with. this second round is into the window next to it that is how you clear a building with enemy in it. the count down is warning the dismounts that a round is going to be fired. they did not get a warning the first time

  • One less terrorist scum bag. Get some!

  • With the time lapses due to protocol, rules of engagement, countdown, etc., the terrorist had just transferred to another building, maybe two blocks away.

  • Well that took care of that problem...

  • SNIPER? LOL WHAT SNIPER

  • you know? the sniper that lets you take pictures of him right before he puts a bullet between your eyes, DID YOU SERIOUSLY ASK THAT QUESTION

  • I think you should put the sniper part the end of the title. "mobile gun system vs sniper"

That way we know what to expect.

  • @tankcommander33 The point being is that this stupid gun crew didn't hit any sniper.

  • well 1. that stupid crew is my crew i am the one that fired the round 2. look behind the mgs, see that canister on the ground before the round is fired thats the initial round into the window, the second round fired is through another window. that is how you clear a building with enemy in it. the count down is for the dismounts on the ground. so you understand smash1 was my call sign at the time

  • lol the one thats in 200 peices over in the corner....

  • According to official reports the "tinsel" around the Stryker is effective 50% of the time at stopping RPG's. The Army should have kept the Walker Bulldogs that Taiwan has upgraded. The Bulldogs took on and defeated T-54's in the hands of ARVN tankers. Bulldogs weigh 23 tons and the Stryker weighs 19. The Pudagon types need to get off of the nickle and buy an upgraded, upgraded, upgraded Herk, that would tote a real tank. 105mm gun but, could mount the old low-velo155 from the 551. TO-TALL!

  • 13:00: a stupid terrorist sniper takes a shot at some troops

13:00:10: American troops react: omfg sombody shot at awesome omg!! Get the videocamera! TAKE COVER!

13:10:00: stryker mobile gun system called in, radios are prepared to call in 2000 pnd jdam if needed

    13:12:00: cameras rolling

13:15:35: Gun system shoots at wall.

13:16:00: Achmed is sipping his tea at his home 10 miles away.

  • You're right, your terrorist might get away if he or she has planned this right and had a guaranteed escape route that avoids bump into a US soldier or Arab ally with a rifle in his or her possession or get into silly animal carriage or auto accident or accidentally stumble into his/her comrades' minefield if he or she panics.

  • @ChrisinatorS Lol funny, but read the uploaders comment. The 1st shot was already fired and the guy was dead. This was a second one just to make sure no one else was in there.

  • @crystallinentity

    Okay;)

Always worth shooting a second time to make sure he's really really dead, especially with these suckers:)

  • @ChrisinatorS Exactly, im pretty sure thats an example in the stryker manual

  • hmmmm. Dora. CP 550 (or was it 505...crap, getting old)

  • cp 506 the fucking best sit and shoot spot in dora

  • thats a biiig gun on this truck xD

  • so u are in da mgs?

  • no he said take a shot that dude was kind of an asshole as if i was needing his permission to shoot

  • did the guy at the end say HEADSHOT? lol

  • I think he said, "Get some!"

  • the fucking shell on that

  • i love that fucking apc

  • good thing a bird passed by or i would've thought this is another one of those stupid audio/pictures uploaded in youtube

  • haha for real

  • ino that was weird haha i kinda had to stare at it for a min.

  • @bnkrmike29 Ditto.

  • @bnkrmike29 dude theres a truck in backround...

  • what is that? name?

  • Bumper B-66

TF 1-41, 2nd Armored Division(FWD) Three DU kinetic energy rounds, after being hit by an Iraqi RPG February 26

Norfolk line Penetration in the hull,

    below the turret 1 KIA

    2 WIAs

  • it looked like a static image till another vehicle appeared. Nice footage ^^

  • i remember the 1st time i saw a stryker with a 120mm i was like wtf! im a taker so u can imagine my thoughts...anyways myself im not a fan of strykers ive seen alot of them stuck..flipt over..blown up..u take a 500lbs ied and sayonara!! nothing like a Tank to show how to really handle the 120!

  • i didn't think a 120mm was needed in urban warfare, i haven't got too much of an idea but isn't it like overkill? iv'e never been in a war, my country hasn't even got an army, but i wouldn't mind drvivng 1 of those babies..

  • that sux and yea 120 is not ever kill a fuckin nuke isent over kill bec in this war every one is the enemy olus its got a 105 if in not mistaken

  • a little intimidation is not a bad thing.

calling in some A-10 warthogs for example during an ambush might not be all that effective, but i would shit my pants if i saw one, and heard the noise their gatling gun makes, if i knew he was lookin for me and my pals.

Not a lot of cover that could protect me from a vehicle like that either. Might make me want to stay home with my boomstick.

  • they got a 105 and they might flip but do u know the death toll of their crew

  • also there are plans to put a 155mm on the stryker i doubt it will happen bec the 155 would jerk the whole gun platform back/up.

  • just my two cents but to let every one know the stryker mgs has armor thick enough to withstand multiple rpg attacks and its stable enough to with stand a ied attack the iv never heard of one getting stuck plus my uncle trained on them and they make u get them stuck guess what he couldent get it stuck in the mud no matter what he tried.

but that just my two cents

  • ive seen them get pawned by massive ieds though , then agen ive seen an m1 abrams get lifted at least 6 ft in the air by an ied

  • but the crew survived in both which is whats its good for

  • yup i suppose , but in some cases it isnt the shrapnel that kills them inside its being lifted up then slammed down inside a metal vehicle

  • no only one abrams crew member was ever killed inside the tank, iv heard about one stryker casiultie but a sniper got him when he was lookin out the hatch

  • thats not true. I wish it were but we have lost marines in the abrams.

  • how many casulties not wias kias have u counted ever since the conflict started it was only one casultie and theres the reason three du ieds

  • 3 on Rte purple

  • battalion number? and the only casultie in the tank is what im talkin bout the rest of the crew kills r out board.

  • 1st tk bn
