  • I would kill for a guy like him :)

  • God, I miss musicals.

  • i just keep getting chills.

  • My best-friend just starred as Seymour in our highschool play. and he was AMAZING. Played Seymour PERFECTLY

  • HIs voice is beautiful

  • @shazie1436 you mean hers?

  • @madonnabdfan1 Hers too, but I was actually referring to Rick Moranis' voice.

  • Nice singing voice for some 1who speaks with a high voice

  • OK, IM SORRY BUT THAT IS THE MOST AWESOME-IST THING IVE EVER WITNESSED. WHO KNEW RICK MORANIS AND STEVE MARTIN WOULD BE IN A MUSICAL??? one thing i know for sure.................... THEY CANT SING!!!!!!! but i love the movie

  • OMG i love audrey!! SHe sooo sweet and cute!

  • Whores like that don't deserve "Seymour."

Sorry ladies, but it's the truth: You can't act like Audrey and expect some decent man to want to "save" you... why would they?

Good girls get good guys, and bad girls get the shit end of the stick. 'Tis the way of things, the way of the Force. xD

  • @DarthZimmeris666 who says Seymor's a decent man. Didn't he chop up his boss and his rival for Audrey and feed them to the plant? Grow up, dude! The only people who can expect to marry a virgin are other virgins.

  • @CarylDanyls Lies... all LIES!!!

Since when did the tired phrase "grow up, dude" become synonymous with: "lose heart, man, it's cool." ?

Furthermore: I never said anything about virginity, only spoke against obvious and overt whoredom, which is indeed what Audrey is supposed to represent. There's a big difference between a person who has been with a few people, and a slut.

Just because you have shitty values does not mean everyone else does. xD

  • @DarthZimmeris666 How DARE you impune MY valuess because I stood up for Audrey! I'm a 61 year old grandmother and I don't even date, let alone sleep around. YOU, on the other hand, are a judgemental creep!

  • @CarylDanyls Oh, I dare.

Mrs. Danyls, ma'am, this is YouTube. I seriously recommend you leave well enough alone with the comments, and simply watch the clips.

And I hope you instilled your children with better values than what Audrey seems to display, and which you yourself have defended here today.

For shame, madam, for shame indeed! :\

  • @DarthZimmeris666 "I seriously recommend you leave well enough alone with the comments, and simply watch the clips." I suggest you do the same, you judgemental creep.

  • @CarylDanyls Calm down grandma, we wouldn't want you to go busting a sprocket now would we? :)

  • @CarylDanyls Brilliant response. Just brilliant.

How funny is it when people post a comment saying leave the comments alone. Even funnier when they just don't get it.

  • @DarthZimmeris666 Okay, let's clear up some confusion, shall we?

Whore: One who has sex for monetary purposes. True? True.

Audrey: Mistreated, confused woman with low self-esteem who seems to think that she is worthless, except for her body. Has been in at least one abusive relationship (and judging from her self-worth, likely more.) No evidence that she has had sex for money (The Gutter sounds to me like a strip club or Hooters-like place).

Seymour: Kills her boyfriend and his dad. Decent?

  • Maybe after they were done kissing they had sex that would be funny

  • b00bies!!! :D

  • I. Love. Her. So MUCH.

  • She sounds soooo bad haha

  • When I first saw this video, I had no clue what Audrey was saying! I was 10 years old and I had to put on the subtitles so I knew what she was saying! After that I ,knew every word to the song and all the other songs to this movie!!! I was a freak in the 4th grade!!! Kn ow that i'm 12, my friends are saying I was a genius for knowing a different love balled for a skit we are doing!I am playing Audrey !!!:D

  • 2:07 I must need a new pair of ears because I hear, "don't cut his head" 0_0

  • such an amazing voice she has

  • Puberty hits you hard, bro.

  • @TeamVoldemort666 no because i am playing audrey. dont make fun of me.

  • at my school, we are having a little shop of horror musical. i really hope that i get the part of audrey. she sings with such passion. it's amazing.

  • @Beheaamoth i have to talk like that

  • Damn she's got some soul in her haha

  • Comment removed

  • @megan123 no actually it is her real voice if you search her on YouTube now her voice got a little lower over time but it's still like that in a way

  • I remember doin this at my school

  • 1:56-- OMG SHE WENT THROUGH PUPERTY

  • Ellen Greene's voice is so unique and even weird, but I'd give anything to have it <3 She's so so emotional and amazing!

  • her voice scares me..... lol

  • luvly :)!!!

  • Good stuff starts at: 1:55

  • Anyone else notice that rick constantly stares at her breasts lol :D love this film 2nd best musical after RHPS x

  • "He don't give me orders. He don't condesend" I love Howard Ashman's lyrics. Just so sweet and slightly heart braking, but in a simple way.

  • Audrey's speaking voice is so obnoxious, lol!

  • She sings every note perfect....dang

  • I love the contrast between Audrey's voice and her soul-voice.

  • "Aww, that Audrey is so swee- OH SHIT! Where did that come from?!" :P

  • he's out of time in the beginning

  • Comment removed

  • Wait, the fuck? Those backup singers just appeared. o.O

  • @KeepRunningKilljoys2 They always follow Seymour in case he decides to sing.

  • Gotta like how her voice starts out as all cottony and high-pitched, then DAYUM. It went deep... ಠ__ಠ. Wow. ಠ u ಠ ...

  • love this song! where's my seymour? <3

  • like if you watched this and the backround girls freaked you out at 2:54! :)

  • I just finished watching the movie on DVD...my favorite musical of ALL TIME!!!!

  • Audery sounds really good!

  • Love this song!

  • i love this movie but i had some issuse with the dentist... lol

  • Kleenex :D<3

  • This chick has an amazing voice when see gets into singing but her voice throughout the film gets really annoying good job

  • Just found this movie. Wow, just wow.

    Instant favorite.

  • im i the only one who finds it wierd that she speaks like a baby and sings with such passion soul and voice?! wtf

  • @BaByGiiRlAaF she doesnt talk like that in real life. thats just a voice she uses for the movie. and i think its ingenious.

  • @BaByGiiRlAaF that's because she was originally on broadway prior to her being in this movie but I do agree she talks like a baby lol

  • @BaByGiiRlAaF thats common... remember Michael Jackson?

  • @BaByGiiRlAaF LEAVE ELLEN ALOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE!!! D:<

  • @BaByGiiRlAaF I always thought that was the point. She's been horribly abused all her adult life, and probably as a child, too. So she's only really herself when she's with Seymour and in moments like this. She doesn't have to be afraid anymore when the song comes. It's a moment of redemption.

  • @BaByGiiRlAaF I always took the voice change as a sign of her outer "character" vs the inner "real" Audrey. That is, the world sees and hears a ditzy little girl, but she's a real woman inside, so her real voice is the beautiful voice of a woman with real dreams. Of course, Seymour hears her that way, too.

  • @BaByGiiRlAaF its her character with the baby voice but ya one of the best broadway female singing voices I have EVER HEARD :) <3

  • Am I the only one who thought they weren't speaking English at the very beginning? o.O

  • is it just me or is that girl the evil mother from matilda?

  • Comment removed

  • @theatergeeksjk24601 no this is ellene greene, the mother was played by rhea perlman

  • @angelwing43 haha I thought it was the mum from matilda earlier then IMDB'd it :L

  • i love this part..

  • OMG close your eyes and listen to the girl- NOW PICTURE ADAM SANDLER!! Exact match!!! LOL

  • @trkoby hahaha youre right thats pretty funny

  • this came on the other day :)

  • He always looks so confuzzled in this movie :P she has a beautiful voice 8-) why didn't she go some where after this?

  • Is it weird that I'm totally attracted to Rick Moranis...? Haha

  • Fucking goosebumps, man. That's how you know you've heard a masterpiece.

  • Me: *turns on song*

Friend: What the heck? What is this? Her voice is so weird! (We're 12)

Me: *looks at her like a psycho* You disgust me.

  • This gets me every time. I'm laughing! I'm crying! I've got goosebumps. And the doo-wop girls!! Perfect!!!

  • Why hasn't this show achieved the halloween status of Rocky Horror. I'd love to see this every Halloween at a theatre. I saw the live play and was blown away!

  • Damn this movie brings back memories! (T_T)

  • Frankie and Ari bought me here ! :)

  • ive been singing this all day and i just had to ewatch the scene to shut myself up XD

  • @dougieinthebushes same :D

  • what is Seymour gonna shrink Audrey later after they're married...wait they shrink their kids THEN they shrink themselves, at least not before blowing up a kid. xD

  • i love her voice. when she talks, its a sweet, calm, awesome voice. when she sings, )_(!!! omg~she~is~to~good~!

  • her voice is amazing *_*

  • Thumbs up if Little Shop of Horrors brought you here.

  • @KIRAKIRACHINGCHING Your kidding right?

  • @KIRAKIRACHINGCHING No shit. No fucking shit. Motherfuckin shakespeare brought me here.

  • @KIRAKIRACHINGCHING A highschool production of it, actually :P

  • came here after watching this movie for the first time as an adult, saw it as a child didn't hold much interest, I was amused and thinking its just ok... Then "suddenly" this duet scene comes on and at least 4 times I got the total body rush goose bumps.. Just wow!... bravo!

  • @ttyrent ditto

  • The gutta?

    The gutta.

  • And this would be why I am in love with 80s Rick Moranis.

  • ITS BARNEY RUBBLE!!!! lol

  • Hey, you three! What have I told you about spying on emotional breakthroughs?!

  • We were watching this in my theatre class. When she started singing the chorus, the entire class of thugs and ruffians of various grades whispered "Damn...." and sat in silence for the rest of the song.

  • I madw

  • @thetruthishard1 You didn't get the part? Sorry dude.

  • Crap. Im back n

  • I am finding out what part i got today, i tried out for seymour. I really hope i get seymour.

  • It's a beautiful scene, it says - everybody wants to love and to be loved, even the poor and weak. I love this scene, I love it a little bit more than "The dentist" ;-)

  • Doing this song in a play. Pretty excited

  • @Koubear24 Really? This is what our school production is :P

  • This was MADE for Finn and Rachael!!! Hope they do it this season!

  • Damn her voice is so weird but it is FILLED with emotion! Makes you feel every single word!

  • were singing this in choir. (: baritones seymour. altos and suprano's the girl. im an alto. i wish we didnt have to go so much off the melody for alto's but its what makes great harmony.

  • I'm playing Audrey in my school play.

  • We sing this in choir!

  • This dingy blonde has a wonderful voice, not what I expected!

  • i love the balcony ladies!

  • this is a great movie and ellen greene is just amazing!!!! what a voice!!!! thanks soso much for posting!

  • She can really sing, WOW

  • That kiss *_*

  • check this out

    Suddenly Seymour (Multitrack Duet)

  • If I were married to her I would make that bitch sing everything she says

  • i use to love this movie, and sing that part out loud, and my family member look at me like i was craZy lol

  • They're such a cute couple!

  • Ugh, I dont like her.

  • movie was great but the love interest was so pathetic it eratated me.

  • THAT WHITE BITCH SANG WITH MORE SOUL THAN HALF OF THE CHICKS ON THE RADIO WE HEAR NOW!

  • @demondincredible That my friend, is the power of Ellen Greene. =)

  • @pcnerd1010 it is! :-D

  • @demondincredible Sadly I hear she really thrashed her voice though playing this role and doing the tour where she played Audrey. Just makes me appreciate her perfect singing even more.

  • @demondincredible True...but WOW! LOL

  • @ToGetTheTunes My bad for being so RAW with my comment (I was high when I posted that on here LOL) But it's very true what I said. I'm not a fan of musicals at all but this is my favorite movie. The music, the talent & lets not forget the director is Frank Oz. I truly believe he brought a little Miss Piggy SWAG to the set when he made this movie.

  • @demondincredible Just half? That's a little lenient, don't you think?

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE little shop of horrors! :D <3 its so so awesome!

  • @TheTrainRex He's probably gay

  • Ellen Greene is superb, PURE talent. She plays this character too well..

  • I was fairly young when this came out, and I'd never seen or heard of the 1960 film or the early 80's musical. I remember when Ellen Greene started to sing being totally blown away by what a powerful voice she had, given her deliberately mousy speaking performance. It just further endeared me to her character and made me want her to persevere and find a nice Jewish boy to treat her right. LOL

  • His voice is umm... very attractive. Lol naww his voice is straight up sexy xD

  • guitarmaniac good luck at the show!!!

  • her wig wud protect from her a nuclear attack

  • Does anyone know if there is sheet music for piano for this song? It would be great to be able to play it on the piano.

  • @farmerne yeah there is in class we have the song idk where to get though

  • I'd sell my soul to sing like Ellen Greene.

  • I'm playing Seymour for a performance and I'm only 12!!! I really don't wanna do the kiss at the end with the girl who's playing Audrey.......because she's 15!!!!

  • @GuitarManiac1998 When I was 12 I would have killed to kiss a 15 year old.

  • @GuitarManiac1998 - Kiss her you FOOL!!!! You're never going to regret the ones you kissed, only the ones you didn't. [Well, that is, unless it's closing time at the local watering hole and you tongue the old lady behind the bar so she'll continue to serve you while they put up the chairs.]

  • 43 people are purple people eaters!!!

  • nice how he actually holds the shots + doesn't cut every second like a lot of more recent musicals do. you can enjoy the great performances more.

  • i neva kno him cuda sing!

    honey i shurnk the kids

  • her voice is sooooo unique. it's weird. but in a good way. it's so strong!

  • is she one of the aunt's in pushing daisy's?

  • @KatNu100 yep!

  • @KatNu100 Yeah! Someone remembers that beautiful show!!

  • I think one of the greatest and funniest things about this movie is that ellen greene speaks w a high pitched soft and sqeaky voice then when she sings she surprisingly bursts out w this incredible big voice haha

  • she is so skinny

  • Comment removed

  • she sounds funny

  • Comment removed

  • Rick Moranis is a Boss!!

  • what a great song and movie

  • She sounds like a black lady...:O

    That's astonishing!!!

  • @yanira13 right thats wat i said when u hear her sqeaky speaking voice, i thot she was dubed but ellen really is an amazing singer!

  • I love this song

  • DUDE, I was happy when I found out Ariana sung this when she was 14 (Earlier videos of hers) but no one really beats Ellen Greene for this musical. Ariana is a wonderful and strong singer and I don't deny that but maybe some people just need to see the orignal movie or musical (with an awesome ending) to understand how amazing Ellen Greene is.

  • Frankie and Ariana Grande singg it muchh better ^__^

  • is it me or when audrey sings she sounds kinda like sandy from grease? :O

  • in my opinion ariana is much better than this lady

  • thumps up if ariana grande brought you here! :)

  • did ariana grande bring anyone here?

  • @Reno479011 not just her. my music class too.

  • @Reno479011 nope.
