the song is called metal. its by gary numan. trent reznor covered it years ago, it was originally made for a gary numan tribute album as far as i know, but was never used. i think this was possibly back while the downward spiral was being made, or a bit after. It wasnt released in any real official form until after the fragile in one of the EPs, cant remember which.

I was kinda ticked off NIN didn't include Finland on this tour, since I didn't have any chance of catching a gig in any other country this summer. Though it's sorta lucky for me they had Numan on this gig - that means that I still didn't miss something that the vast majority of peeps who saw NIN this summer didn't. :D
