Funny how people keep comparing Alienware VS Mac. Thing is, ladies and gentlemen, comparing those two is like comparing European with American supercars. You can't. Both systems are powerful, but Alienware is made for playing games whereas Macintosh was (initially) created to run RAM-devouring work-related programs (Photoshop, video-editing software, etc.). - Just like the supercars: European cars don't (always) have the muscle power as the American equivalents, but they go through corners.

The reason why you can run windows on a mac and not vice versa is because Mac won't allow it. They force people into only purchasing their overpriced hardware. It depends on the version you download... I had a jas version that didn't work at all, then I downloaded a "Leo4all" version, and it worked but wasn't able to update without burning a new install disc, So I just got pissed and went ahead to download 10.7 (Lion) and it's working fine. Just wish they had a kext for the intel gma4500 chipsets. Other than that it works nicely.

Nice try dude, keep up the good work. I had similar results on my laptop. The install worked, drivers didn't. I've tried this on my desktop using iBoot - 5x FAIL.

What i don't get is, if you own a Mac you can boot up windows no problem. Also windows doesn't say "you cannot run windows on a non windows pc" now what pisses me off to no end is if you have a Windows based PC and you want to dual boot into OSX Apple doesn't allow it. Interesting process you have used here. If you can solve the issues, this would be the single most impressive thing I have seen in a long time. The problem is working around the fact that OSX has specific codecs built into it specifically designed to work with Mac based hardware. That is what's holding you back right?

@ltinius1988 yes, the difficulty is setting the boot parameters correct and then setting them so iBoot isn't necessary anymore, but some the hardware in here seems incompatible regardless, I hope with OS X Lion there will be a work around, but time will tell. I did figure out a way to trick the computer into deleting unallocated space into a mac partition, which means I still had all my Windows files and just had to repair the OS
