I need to replace the main frame on my mSR and have just noticed that the main motor is held in place by a black blob of 'something'! How do I go about removing it and then what do I use to glue it back in to the main frame?
It should be noted for the older, less visually endowed, owners that the wires should not be aligned with the small flat spot on the end of the boom (on bottom of boom) where it enters the main frame. If you do this the boom will not go all the way into the body. Thanks much for this very useful tip.
Excellent maintenance video! So, if you need a new tail motor, is this how it comes from E-Flite, as a complete assembly? It sure beats trying to solder another motor to the tiny wires!
The mSR has hit UK shores now and I just got one this weekend. It's going to be a tough decision on a calm day whether to fly my Raptor 30 or the mSR :) Congrats to E-flite
Yes I think it comes packaged with the boom and motor. Code is EFLH3002. Hopefully someone will locate a cheap source of parts as spares on ebay and UK internet sites seem pretty pricey to me.
Is this the same way to change the boom on the sr 120?

Has anyone done a video on the after market tail boon, which is also sold by horizon? I had one, but had a lot of trouble trying to figure it out.
