i have read every book and i liked the movie but the books (as in nearly every case) are better. the one thing i didnt like were the soldiers, in the book there made out to be sort of run down only a few wearing body armour and most looking untrained and shit but in the movie they look the USarmy just with a different uniform

It's no surprise the US been implanting messages inside people's head around the world that "Chinese" are bad... Just like they successfully did with "Arabs" and "Russians" 30 years ago.

In the book, the author never specifically say it's China or Asian country... If this movie was made 10 years ago, the "invaders" would've been Afghanistan!

AT the end of the last book, the invaders get land on Australia as part of the truce, and in this movie they say they invaded because of resources and land. Why would China need either of those? They've got plenty of resources, as for land, they are still building to great extends in their own country, deforesting etc.

now i would say it would be more realistic if a Russian back North Korea did invade. Why? When the US empire loses it's influence in Asia, Russia would take the opportunity. It would fund North Korea and let it take over South Korea. Then go further South till they reach Australia. Now if you wonder where China is well right now it is very unstable. Within China are many problems like ghost cities and ethnic conflicts with Uighurs, issue with tibet and a future war with india
