In Washington State, we have traffic light cameras EVERYWHERE.....looking for every opportunity to add revenue to our tax and spend government. If that was a good citizen running that "soon to be red light" , like officer friendly did......we would have received a very expensive ticket in the mail.

@hpygolkyone Ah, most stop light cameras don't issue you a ticket unless you ENTER the intersection on a red light and go through it. He entered and cleared the intersection on a yellow light. This is perfectly legal. You don't have to stop for a yellow light. If it's easier to go through then slamming on your breaks and disrupting the traffic flow, it's fine to do.

We are clogging our courts with citizens protesting these tickets and for the most part, we seem to be winning. I received a ticket for "not stopping" at a red light. The video clearly shows me stopping and my $124.00 ticket was thrown out. Most people just pay the fine rather than miss a days wages to go to court and fight. -Sigh-
