  • 2:03 What is that thin membrane?

  • It hurt to watch. Any and all dental procedures are painful to watch.

  • whoa whoa whoa what caused this?

  • 3:17 RUB DAT BUTTA

  • EWW THERE JUST RIPPIN THE VAINS AND MEAT

  • What the hell was that? I watched an autopsy on tv the other day no prob, but watching this was stomach turning!

  • my theeth hurt

  • I hope this poor guy made a full recovery and bought a nose hair trimmer.

  • @RebelMuse LOL Very funny comment! And the patient did great!

  • I just dyed a little on the inside....

  • Why youtube is showing shit like this but not porn?

  • Ayayay...I think I'm having this procedure done. How long does it take for the bone to grow back?

  • @m0xie How did it go? The bone usually fills in from 3 months to a year

  • @jasondeblinger It went pretty well actually, had almost no pain at all, only minor sinus discomfort and the bone has grown back almost completely. I have another check-up in 3 months.

  • this is the most disgusting thing i've ever seen

  • That seemed relatively simple operation, remove the "corrupted/infected" material, and replace the lost material with synthetic solution?

Funny how this video seemed kinda interesting, but at the same time I'm scared shitless to go to see a dentist. I feel too vulnerable while at the same time all my instincts are telling me to push the person away. Don't really like having unknown people poking my mouth/head.

I guess that's the downsides of having 8 years of martial arts training.

  • nice

  • I just had this procedure done today. It was SO PAINFUL, it seemed like no matter where the denist put the novacaine it wouldnt work. Is this normal?

  • @FriendOfSarahConnor Its not normal but definitely can happen. Sorry it wasn't an easy experience for you!

  • @FriendOfSarahConnor Not normal at all!! Sorry u felt it!

  • You cant put boobs to youtube but yo can put this, wtf really...

  • omg i could never be a surgeon

  • bull crap that wasnt painful omg ahh

  • omg, wth is this?

  • that brown stuff is PUSS or infection .. :(

  • @IanasAnd It is puss. But I guess u can say it's infection as well.

  • You cold be DEAD now if u didnt had that operation. :(

  • All I have to say is, thank God for dentists otherwise we'd be in a lot worse shape. And I'm happy to say while I've had 6 composite fillings, I have never had any root canals. I'd rather just have great oral care than see an endo or periodontist. But thanks for helping us with our teeth problems Doc :)

  • can calcium hydroxide be used.. wats the principle of using calcium sulphate....you hv used air oter handpiece to enlarge the cavity, will it not cause air emphysema....

  • @narendraden Calcium hydroxide cant be used. It's used internally In root canals. The hand piece we use for surgeries blows air out the back end to avoid emphysema. Good question.

  • Well you made a mess of that didnt you.

  • my mom was getting naucious lol, shes used to watching pus come out pimples tho,lol nice job thoough nice job!

  • im disgusted yet fascinated at the same time. that looks soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo painful!

  • @MixedAzian It wasn't painful at all. Surprising i agree

  • I actually want to know what you are taking out and how it was made

  • omg iv never seen anything like this....its hurts me!!

  • why no sound?

  • @beschier

    AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • wow this is huge!

how good does the calcium sulfate work? do you have to mix it with something else? do you fill the whole cavity? how long does it take to resorb?

thanks for the video. very good stuff!

  • Calcium sulfate is great with very large lesions. It allows bone to grow within it and resorbs. It is mixed with sterile saline or anesthesia. Thanks!!

  • thanks for the quick reply.

    definitely have to try this.

    regards from london

  • good

  • Hello, did you sealed the root with MTA or With Calcium sulfat? Thanks from Spain

  • I sealed the root tip with mta and the lesion with calcium sulfate.

  • outstanding

  • in my oppinion it's far more traumatic than necessary

  • Wow, very skillful.

Where did the dentist go to school?

  • University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Dental and Endodontic Specialty training

  • Whats going on? :O omg did he die? :<

  • great result!!! thanks for the post op info!!

  • oohh god is disgusting

    i throw up

  • Omfg, are you trying to kill the guy!?

  • How can someone have that size of an infection in their head and not have any ancillary symtomology? Or are these types of infections usually considered "occult" or asymptomatic?

  • omg im assisting my first apico friday...and i'm praying that it's not as scary as this!!!
