Hi shadownemmy, have you heard Eric Claptons' "Let It Grow"? It's a great ballad, beautifully written, with a very similar structure and chords to this one, but Eric wrote it before this came out! Listen to the two of them, and you can't help but think that it influenced the Eagles - but we all benefit from that. ;-) Do you know of Guns'n'Roses? I think you'd like them. November Rain, Sweet Child, etc. And don't forget the debut album by the Counting Crows, "August and Everything After".
Finally, the REAL-DEAL, and not just another knock-off. Which isn't to say I don't knock this off at parties and in any bar where they will let me. Damn perfect rock'n'roll.

@shadownemmy I think it is the other way around. The less rock there is in the music biz, the less people will listen to rock. Most kids listen to whats thrown at them. The problem is'nt the people listening to shitty music, but the music industry producing it.
