Well, I'll be alone for Christmas too, Dave. My mom died November 1, she had lived with me for the past 6 years. Believe me, it's a rough transition. She was 98, and had fallen and broken her hip. She was in a nursing home for 4 months, but never really recovered. So, if the weather was good, I'd drive up there, but from experience, I don't drive North in the Winter.
