ego is a really great marker, no one can say its not!

but the true is! Pro players can use any marker and still be equaly good!.. the marker dosent make u better. its all propaganda.. the only reason XSV uses EGOS its because they get it free. same goes for ironman using Dye and Russian legion using bob long.. SO STOP SAYING WICH MARKER IS BETTER! and start asking urselft why u suck so much that u have to blame the marker!. (this is for everyone that said that the ego is better than droid)

It's so when you're test firing the balls fall to the spinner faster because you're usually aiming down a bit as compared to up in a real game. research before you speak! hehe :)

Question for you. I heard the maintenance is very easy on these. Is it like the Invert Mini, where you just pull the bolt/assembly out the back and only a few O -rings? I ask because I may buy a Driod soon, I just hate 30 min tear downs.

ok well its kinda like a mini. there is 20 orings in the drivetrain but only 4 of them move and the rest are just seals. the maintinence is more like a dm or pm. overall, it takes me about 5 or 10 mins to do regular maintinence.

Haha yeah, I definitely like it more than any other gun I've shot. To me you can't beat a gun that is efficient, fast, and simple. I like the fact that the construction is basically the drivetrain (bolt assembly) and a regulator lol.

to the weight question, it weighs 1000 grams with the stock barrel. the body is about the same weight maybe even lighter than the ego but the ego barrel is slightly lighter

Yep. I believe the Cyborg is lighter than the Droid overall, but the Droid is the lightest spool valve marker out right now.

droid more accurate.compared both this weekend, both right out of the box. droid put the balls much closer at around 50 yards.

still like the ego8 better though.

Without barrels the Droid is lighter, but the Droid barrel is heavier than the Ego barrel. It's definitely easy to clean, hardly anything to it really. I don't know about the modes on the Ego, so I can't really say anything about that.... however you don't need an upgraded board.

the 07 ego has only ramp and semi, it has like psp millenium and cfoa...but those are all ramp settings. and yea the body is lighter but the ego barrel is prolly the lightest out there

Shoot both then decide. Ego is a poppet, Droid is a spooler. Honestly I'd go for the Droid but can't really make the decisino for ya.

your vlocity will be alot more consistant if you install a gangstar spring my vlocity fed the same way with my gangstar and so i said hey what the heck lets try the spring thing rips you need it for that beauty of a gat also man thanks for the review!

I've shot both and the Droid is definitely more comfortable. I'm a big fan of the Borg too, but a lot of people really prefer the Droid.

I do have both an '07 Borg and an '07 Droid.

awsome gun,nice video!. but you really dont have to turn the hopper around. I know ppl say that it helps with last balls and such. But you if oyu try I think you will find at least with the angle your shooting at you would be ok with it the correct way. This backwards hopper is something that balles old school players. I know you young guys say it is better but I have to agree its .... nevermind great gun nice hopper. im sure you will have alot of fun with that baby.

You can't tell really well in the video, but I'm shooting down a set of stairs. The object I'm shooting is probably about seven feet lower than the gun itself. So yes, in this case, turning the hopper around was better. Don't worry, it's nothing something I do often ;)
