Whether or not global warming is horse shit, it seems fear is a main motivator for humans to innovate. So much innovation came from WWII and the cold war when people feared for there way of life. People as a whole (that includes you) are to ignorant to make change on there own.

Sure and all of the above that you have mentioned have ignored Scientific Method. Global Climate Change is still a theory, not one scientist or group of scientists put the theory through the method that takes it from theory to scientific fact. There is no one experiment that can prove or disprove global climate change. You can name hundreds of scientists and groups that think it is real and one can also name hundred that think it is not real and has not been proven. Life/cycle as is weather.
