  • Who is this funded by again?

OH, right. David and Charles Koch, two oil tycoons who own Koch Industry.

  • This is epic, epic fail

  • this is win

  • fuck you Carlton

  • Because wealthy people eat cheddar cheese cubes on Ritz crackers.

  • LMAO

I prefer Velveta on Wheat Thins.

  • cheese whiz on club crackers....

  • What a joke.

Actually, to be fair I'm sure this is exactly the image of environmentalists that years of listening to Limbaugh/Hannerty/Coulter propaganda has formed in the minds of the great mass of right-wing morons.

  • Actually, with very little training the alternative energy plants will bring more jobs to the table. Research it yourself.

  • If the AFP wants to be taken seriously, they should choose something other than ad hominem as their core message.

    Like science.

  • The AFP can't use science because the scientific data contradicts their agenda.

As an aside, I like how this blatant piece of propaganda tries to make it seem like the only people who are concerned about the environment are "rich eco-hypocrites". Since when did 20k a year before taxes count as rich?

  • Whether or not global warming is horse shit, it seems fear is a main motivator for humans to innovate. So much innovation came from WWII and the cold war when people feared for there way of life. People as a whole (that includes you) are to ignorant to make change on there own.

  • Yep - the 2100 world renowned scientists of the IPCC, the national academy of the sciences, and the american meteorological society are all wrong - but the AFP has it right. Maybe they should change their name to - Saudi's for Prosperity. I'd rather live next to a wind or solar plant than an oil field or coal plant.

  • Ah, the old "it's just a THEORY" horseshit from someone who clearly hasn't the first clue about science. Only people in infomercials talk of "scientific facts," to impress the clueless. There are facts (phenomena), and then scientific theories are built, tested and refined to explain and organize those facts.

Here's a question for you: do you accept that the THEORY of plate tectonics explains the origin of earthquakes and volcanic activity?

  • "horseshit ", "someone who clearly hasn't the first clue about science", "the clueless. ".

Spoken like a truely enlightend "green" zealot. When your argument doesn't hold water, attack the individual and their intellect or understanding. Thats the way to prove a point. We free thinking people refuse to follow your new religion like a bunch of lemmings so attack us on a personal level. Wonderful and expected.

  • And your counter-argument is...?

I called it horseshit, because that's what it is. My statement that you don't know the first thing about science was supported by evidence from your comment.

It's ironic--though not terribly surprising--that you would falsely accuse me of doing exactly what you're now doing. I showed specifically why you're clueless and ignorant of science, and you responded with nothing but name-calling.

Now, if you have an actual counter-argument, I'm all ears....

  • I do not need to argue. The science you state is not complete and guess what, never will be. The earth changes and we are insignificant in those changes. Take care and remember to check your tire pressure on your Prius.

  • "The science you state is not complete and guess what, never will be."

That is the essence of science! There will always be something new to discover. You prove your ignorance again.

"Take care and remember to check your tire pressure on your Prius."

First, AAA, NAPA, and NASCAR all recommend maintaining proper tire pressure, as it can save a lot of gas (but who wants that?), so once again you're laughing at basic facts.

Second, you still have done nothing but throw insults. Pathetic.

  • Hey I keep my tire pressure perfect, have no trouble with that. What I have trouble with is little people like you that want to control the population with green hysteria. And forums like this suit people like you, because I know for a fact you wouldnt insult me, calling me pathetic, ignorant etc, if we were face to face. Admit it this argument is like yelling at the tv, no one hears you but it make you feel better.

  • Haha, you really need to learn about "projection." You come on here ranting about "green zealots" and "green hysteria," presume I own a Prius ('cause I'm a liberal, tree-hugging faggy fag fag, right?), call people who accept and have even basic knowledge of science "lemmings," call me a "little person," etc., all while never actually presenting any facts or even a single coherent argument... and you say I'M the one who's just lobbing insults. Heed your own words. xD

  • Well you gave me such an overwhelming amount of facts, evidence and coherent argument that I just couldn't come up with anything. LOL

Get it through your head, you nor anyone else can convince me that Global Warming is truth and fact. Period. I didn't believe it when it was Ice Age, didn't believe it when it was Global Warming and don't belive it now that it is Global Climate Change. I do believe that the Climate of the Globe does change we just have no effect on it. That requires a huge ego.

  • So, are you saying that tire pressure doesn't make a difference in your gas mileage?

  • Even if we take this ad at face value, agree that Gore is a douche, and GW science is faulty...there is one thing that is not disputed, Peak Oil. We are rapidly approaching it, if not there already, and if we don't invest in rails and alt fuels, we're all screwed in ways worse than we imagined.

  • Exactly. How could developing new technologies possibly cause people to lose jobs? Innovation fuels the market.

  • Hey, look! AFP put the videos back up! Wonder if they'll delete them again in shame or leave them up this time. It's so hard being global warming deniers with people constantly pointing out how you're making stuff up, isn't it?

  • i thought environmentalists were supposed to be the ones who are "just against things."

it's so funny to see the environmental community backing an agenda to create jobs, investment opportunities, and technology exports, while all of you are just wallowing in your ignorance.

reality check - the economy is in the tank thanks to... wait for it... wait for it... stupid republican economic policies.

  • Finally, a movement I can get on board with. Thank you AFP!

  • Yes. Too, few statesmen, though.

  • NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOBAMA

  • Five Stars!!

  • Epic Fail 1 star for you.

  • Looks like WIN 2 me!!

  • killerbandit is a moron who wants owlgore to keep blasting C02 out of his mouth and demanding the rest of us produce less emissions.

  • Killer- The sky is falling!

  • Killer is the kind of Obama kool-aid drinker that doesn't care if future generations will be saddled so heavily with debt by an out of control spend a holic in the White House. The reason I say that is because he has already said that he has just begun the madness spending.

  • Truth- Ive run into a few of them on here....
