yep youre right. some of these combos don't work on Ryu. its deceptive but Yun has a bigger hitbox than Ryu so these combos work on him. any other questions, feel free to ask!
do you think that comboing is significantly easier on a stick than a controller. Im a new player and i know ppl say stick is better, but the question is is it that big of a difference?
in my opinion, it's a huge difference because on a stick you can double tap and/or plink the buttons which gives you a better chance of landing the combo successfully. if you look at my inputs, i always plink the sweep.
@MagicEars1 IMO the biggest hurdle you'll have as a pad ken player is to kara throw. Unless you got one with the six face button, you'll have to do some button mapping to get the best range possible on it (and sacrifice easier EXs/ultras).
@hamiltonshinto if your a ken player on a ps3 controller, you can karathrow with his overhead hard kick instead, the range is big, but not as far as the mk, but still usefull none the less. or if you don't use ultra, you could map another mk to L2 and kara throw with L2+grab (i might do this because i do ex moves by pressing two buttons, not the PPP and KKK buttons)
lol have you guys ever seen blazblue combos lolXD

I think this is character specific...I tried combo and so far the first one doesn't connect on Ryu or Ibuki?
Still testing...@KenMastersVideos hit me back with a response. I'm trying Ken as a new main and I want to know what you think please. Thank you!

Excellent combo video, I'm glad to finally see combos that are actually practical to do in a real match.

@KenMastersVideos plink?

@KenMastersVideos I do that on a pad. In my opinion it is all down to the player and what works best with them.

Does those combos from s.mp to cr.hk only work in yun?
curtakacurtis 9 months ago
@curtakacurtis
st.mp to cr.hk works on everyone.
but to get the full combo on smaller characters, you might have to take out one cr.jab depending on spacing.
