  • That is correct

  • wasn't Humugous Sid? I might be mistaken so forgive me if I'm wrong

  • @chrishollister80 No, this Lord Humongous was Jeff Van Kamp, prior to Sid (Vicious) Eudy.

  • Its really a shame that modern wrestling has turned the DDT into a transition move. It used to be the most awesome finisher. Jake would always pull it out of nowhere. Great vid.

  • Jake Roberts DDT still sends chills up my spine. I'm such a mark :)

  • Damn that DDT materialized out of thin freaking air!!!!!

  • It's Pandemonium!

  • I think that Barbarian was John Nord but I'm not 100% sure on that. This Humungous was not a name that every did much after this.

  • @zourah2 That Barbarian is indeed John Nord. That Humungous was Jeff Van Kamp. Van Kamp was the 2nd guy to have the gimmick, with the first being Mike Stark in Memphis (1984).

  • The Nightmare was a great heel. He had an awesome feud with Dick Murdoch during this time.

  • isnt the barbarian the same guy who wrestled as tejo kahn for paul jones in the nwa?

  • Mid-South was a couple years before my time. I'm not sure but being from the Phiadelphia area I probably woulda had hard time finding it on TV. Thank god for youtube! I can watch just a little bit of what I missed out on!

  • Who was 'Lord Humongous' at this point?

  • @slimmsayton Psycho Sid.

  • @flatulatingmarmoset I just looked him up, Sid wasn't the only guy to portray him. Oops. Well, it says he was Humungous in 1987.

  • Nightmare was still wearing his 'Assassin' mask. TOO FUNNY.

  • Anybody know Barbarian's real name?

  • Comment removed

  • @playboydig12 Sione Havea Vailahi

  • I remember when Barbarian turn on Jake. I was like :"NO!!" Talk bout memories, )

  • NEVER MIND...I FOUND IT!! LOL..YEAH!!

  • @soln4suhreborn I'll see if I have that Jake/Taylor match. I know I have a couple matches with them. Not sure which ones though.

  • who was this nightmare?

  • @chuckgan It was Randy Culley (Moondog Rex).

  • @Rayla840 That's what I thought when I saw the hair. Couldn't really see his face.

  • The way the crowd popped for the confrontation between Humongous and the Barbarian makes me think that Watts was slightly off target on that decision to turn the Barbarian.

  • @CombatSportFan I totally agree

  • Just awesome!! This is why Mid-South was the best
