It's always intersting to look into some event in history and go "what if", but as we all know, history does not allow that possibility, we can only deal with real events. So if we had stayed as "and outskirt of Sweden" or not, none can say, but after 1917 Finland has become and earned its independence. None can argue with that. Not the swedes, nor Führer Stalin.

We had nothing to do with Leningrad, and as for the USA alledged intervention, I don't know all the facts about it so I won't comment on it.
