Horse racing is such a difficult sport. Accidents happen evey day of the week. Thank god she got up & was ok. I admire female Jockeys so much. People don't seem to appreciate the time & effort it takes to get fit & strong to be able to ride such strong fast horses.

One more thing, in Scandinavia, racing rules say that you keep your position 150 meters (just below one furlong). The rider in orange/black pushes the first rider to fall into the horse on the inside, closest to the rail.
First of all - they are not jockeys. They are amateur riders. The race is from Oslo, Norway (Övrevoll racecourse). Secondly - they can sit in a saddle, but ride races, nope.
Don´t compare these girls to Crone or Sutherland (met them both), they are jockeys, they can ride. With few exceptions, female riders in Scandinavia don´t cut it.

At least the horses were fine....how come her helmet fell off? I thought in the rules you HAD to have a properly fitting and secured skull cap, and theres no way to get one off if its done up....

Just look at male tennis. It brings in more crowds and it is at a faster pace, more risk shots. Motor racing. How many have been in Formula1. Sport is suited to men biologically. Men know what women are better then us at. Why can't women just accept that some things men are better at?
