@Missgamergirl212 Sometimes one person plays two persons in game.Like in that game in Nancy Drew:Phantom of Venice.There was Helena and the same voice they use for unhappy customer in this game Shadow at the Waters Edge.And in game Nancy Drew:The Legend of the Crystal Skull.There was that old women I dont know here name and they use the same voice for Savannah.So I think she isnt culprit maybe Miwako is.Beacuse Yumi does not have time to do spooky stuff at ryokan beacuse she runs her business.

Yumi seems to be the main culprit since she actually has a reason to want to close the reokan, and she had the shadow puppet book and DVD. Although Rentaro seems to be the most able to pull off weird effects, but he doesn't really want it closed. Takae could be trying to make it seem like the mother is angry so that Yumi will feel guilty about upseting her mothers spirit and return. And Miwako is so secretive and could get Rentaro to help her with ghost mischief. But i'm still voting for yumi...

@TheBre1491 i understand, i used to feel that way when i was small, but the reason why you never get straight answers is because you're meant to guess and think about it. the clues and 'beating around the bush' answers are supposed to get you thinking about your suspects and the culprit. that way, the mystery will stay a mystery until the end.
