@cricketmunchkin - I see it as kind of dry, sarcastic, quietly witty. Based on words rather than actions - so not physical, and not slapstick. It's clever, and understated, and it's the type that makes you laugh no matter how many times you rewatch it. And yes, there is an element of eccentricity there as well =P
