In Rapid City, South Dakota the closest radio station to Z100 in New York City was the defunct HIT100 KGGG-FM (1985-1994). And had a similar morning show called 'Breakfast Flakes.' Z100 had 'Morning Zoo.' They may have been some influence with Z100 for the defunct 'Breakfast Flakes.'

Love Scott Shannon (despite the fact that he announces now for self-important, corny-ass Sean Hannity), and love Tom Snyder. Snyder was a man of true class and humour. I honestly put him up there with Carson; my two favourite late-night TV guys.
