your rig will be fine u can run the game ok on medium settings,since u using vista 64bit how about u stick in another 2GB ram it would help and improve ur system performance, now im using 6GB myself on vista64bit and i tell u wat i will never go back to 2GB

I've got problems with my crysis game (settings on very high, though I'd like to play on ultra high)- there seem to be a lot of flickering of texture maps in distances and the sky.

What is this due to and can I fix it? I've got a really decent machine.

Here are my specs.

What do I need to replace in order to fix this problem?

if u set all the settings on high not very high i would say yes it would run it ok.all of ur specs looks pretty good except ur graphic card which could be a bottleneck

you havent wasted anything man.god i love your specs its a monster machine your system is about %30 to %50 faster than mine and you should be proud dude.dont worry about crysis so much its a bitch of a game and its badly coded and dont forget that its a very new engine the graphic is one of a kind and it will take crytek a while to get their head around it

they are in the cvar config folder.i dropped them cus i get a low framerate if put them on very high those two are graphic demanding and they can eat your graphic card lol .

exactly and you right but for some miracle reason my 32bit vista sees 3.825GB for some strange reason which is close to 4GB,maybe because im using (vista business N)which disables many of the windows features.

It's not a "feature" it's an issue with the maximum size of addressing tables in any 32 bit OS, but whatever, you got lucky, most people only see 3.3 GB

If you use Shareaza I can download them from it. Just put them in a folder you're willing to share the content from and I'll search on 'Crysis Forever'.
