  • Ry Cooder's slide guitar on this song leaves me speechless. So.....I guess that's it.

  • Knick Knack Paddy Whack RIP

  • dude, something in this song... not sure if its the guitar or the bass or whatever, but it sounds alot like "my shits fucked up".

  • @Zelddaddy It's All One Song

  • @Zelddaddy

    It's called "the blues."

  • One of the best songwriters,if not the best.

Every album is worth a listen.

  • the only people that get raped in prison are punks like you.....

  • This is all real true for what Warren is talkin bout in this song because being in prison can be just as bad as being dead. This is just another way of him saying dat he was going to die soon which is real sad. U really gotta admire da courage and passion he had to make an album like this in da hardest times for him.

    R.I.P. Warren Zevon

  • not anymore really, they get 3 squares a day exercise time a better library than most schools and they get workshops where they make things like tables and chairs. nowadays they get treated with better healthcare than dying children would be treated with.

  • Even so, it's prison. Some would rather die than be prisoners and would do so if the guards didn't make it impossible. No matter what, they're still prisoners.

  • @ruthlesace Kinda pisses you off when you figure prisoners live way better that someone in the low income bracket...people that have to worry about whether or not they're going to eat, buy meds, or make the rent...things they can't do anything about. When I was in the Navy, that's when I learned that prisoners eat better than service men and women...if the prisons rejected food they deemed wasn't fit for prisoners...they sent it to the local military bases for consumption. That really sucks!
