@kiasmus Oh yes I agree entirely. Imagine composing the most significant orchestral work in the repertoire, including a keyboard that projects coloured lights, 70 years before Saturday Night Fever? What was Scriabin thinking? He should have had his eyes put out. Well done for spotting that. If it wasn't for people like you we'd all be flapping around like penguins, honking like seals, and sniffing our armpits like monkeys. But you saved us. You saved the world. Daß die Lichter zu flackern haben, steht allerdings nicht in der Partitur und stört eher. Umgekehrtes "mickeymousing" - Licht ahmt Musik nach...

Skrjabin war einer der wenigen echten Künstler, also der Menschen, die das Wesen der Kunst, das in der Überwindung der Natur liegt, in der Tiefe verstanden hatten. Er gehört nur wenigen und das ist auch gut so, blieb sein Werk doch dadurch von der Abstumpfung durch Wiederholung und Markenbildung verschont.
