What a piece of grandstanding vulgarity for the tourists and international students. It baffles me how people that live here look at that thing and go 'oooh...look at the blue numbers counting down...oooh....what an inspiration'. They should have another 'clock' right beside it detailing all of the wasteful money being spent on these 'glory' filled 2 weeks of winter sports. Vancouver is such a blind embarrassment sometimes.
