@landart67 Wouldn't that be nice, practice time on that organ. Even if I still lived in NYC, it wouldn't happen. That wasn't the first time I've played this organ. I've played it many times over the last 30+ years. But THIS was the first time I've played it since its restoration.
@bhigdaddymark seriuosly I'm curious how do you practice on a pipe organ (or for a pipe organ) If your a beginner and your crackin notes every other bar ,I can imagine the whole neighborhood cringing saying " oh , that boy aint never gonna make it soundin like that" .LOL really
@landart67 "Crackin notes everyother bar"...what are you talking about? BTW, I never said that I was a beginner as I've been playing the organ 44 years....
@bhigdaddymark No,No, No. what i meant was "If" your a beginner on an organ that size and you crack notes, everyone in the neighbor hood can hear it. I was not criticizing your playing at all. :)
@landart67 I didn't think that you were being critical (and if you were, that would've been fine), I just didn't understand the term "Crackin notes" as I've never heard that expression that's all. Where in the country is that term from? Like accents, terms or sayings if you will, can be regional.
that organ is fantastic!

You know Mark.... I always love the sound of AEolian-Skinner and Austin organs. Everytime I hear one (played well) it's just amazing!
