This IS comedy! I was an avid SWL from 1987 to 1990, and I remember occasionally using WWV's signal to calibrate the clock readout on my radio (a Realistic [Radio Shack] DX-440) to UTC. Gosh, I miss my good 'ol 440 and those late-nights I spent, hunting for new stations to record in my logbook. (Sadly, my receiver's insides ended up getting fried when I mistakenly plugged it in using the wrong type of adapter.) Thanks for the great memories!
I love listening to WWV
