  • Why would guys make fun of him, aleast he is a working man.

  • Call Don King !!! ha ha ha ha ha ha ha,,I think he is tooo good for Don King...Why are you all bent out of shape for loosing your gravy train job ??? Welcome to the real world, Now you actually might have to work for a paycheck...Did you work for Chrysler??? BANKRUPT because of you LAZY< GREEDT UNION PARASITES !!!! GOOD LUCK !!

  • Yeah, and grossly overpaid executives who are paid millions to what, run companies into the ground? LOL! Yeah, some union workers might be somewhat overpaid, but they are the little guy making what- 50-70K/yr? You are a moron if you think their pay is the reason the U.S automakers suck. I would say that the quality of the workers is shaky with the UAW. They DO have some bozos who can't be fired and that is the unfair part.

  • if your a UAW worker making big bucks the last 5 or 10 years let say and being the worlds highest paid autoworker

what did they do with their salaries they earned the last 5~10 years ? no savings ?

  • Cmon - Who wouldn't hire THIS guy if he walked in? Good looking and intelligent people like him will have no problem.

  • Kinda makes you proud, doesn't it ????

  • wonder when they will lay off prison workers.....

  • Get your high school diploma Buckwheat.

  • Like THATS gonna guarantee someone a job these days.

  • HAHHAHAHHA that was funny! True though. They aint shit out der nigga!

  • Dude no workers left behind it's all BS United States have no more funds Period! This debt they can't pay out and all other countries are not loaning any more funds to the USA it's not going to get better USA economy is gonna Collapse before

Spring!!! 2009 Get Ready for Martial Law

  • I have solution,

    call DON KING!!!

  • It is sad people loose there jobs, but long gone are the days when you retire from your job. People need to get use to the fact you have to do whatever you have to. Chances are youll work lots of jobs and not retire from any of them. Society is what is screwing people we do to our selfs with greed and ignorance. as well as living far beyong our means. People have done this for far to long and it is coming back to bite us all in the butt.

  • Welcome to the real world UAW, Textile workers have sufferd for years and the USA goverment has done nothing to help them out, They made $12,00 per hour not $75,00. If the goverment wants to bail someone out of trouble bail out the people of the middle class give us $50.000,00 to spend and that will put the county back on track

  • Same situation here. I worked in the auto industry for 9 years (journeyman machine repair). I kept getting small lay offs for a week or two, but Oct.24th I was let indefinitely. I was told I may not be called back until Spring. I was like you, I liked my job and coworkers. I was always there even if I was scheduled 7 days a week. Hopefully one day I will go back. I am finishing my degree and praying.

  • they always lay the off the trouble makers first.

  • american junk????? bite me toyotaboy i have

    1. 1991 cavalier 2.2L tbi. runs great, body is solid(southern car). 140K original engine and transmission. no major issues 25-30 mpg

    2. 1998 cavalier, 2.2L SFI runs great, original engine and transmission. no major problems. wifes car 23-27 mpg

    3. 1989 camaro RS 305 tbi. original engine/trans. handles great. t tops, posi, v8 power. even with a v8, still gets 17-24 mpg when driven in a sane manner. 171K miles, not a winter car.

  • Is that Don King??

  • no worker left behind. hmm, how much did they raise buisness taxes to institute such a program? i feal michigans plight due to my truck driving carear and this hurts my job as well. michigan seems to spend mor and more in social progams to keep their residents stranded without jobs. i don't understand it. lower buisness tax, and more buisness will come to michigan. its a grate location with a willing work force. i bet they'd work for $15 or $20 bucks per hour. maby even $12

  • A good wage will be $11.00/hr. after this depression is done.

  • Toyota is more american then "american" car companies. What makes a company american does because they are hq in america???

Toyota employs more americans then gm and ford. I first drove a jap now and now I drive a bmw why because gm and ford cars look so plain.

  • linhh82: After owning 5 American pieces of crap, I bought a Toyota, and it's a dream (has over 260,xxx miles now). If U.S. automakers didn't pay their workers an average of $29.25 per hour (plus huge pensions and benefits) to make gas-guzzling junk cars, then they wouldn't need our tax money. Most Americans don't make anywhere near $29.25 per hour--so why should we hand over our hard-earned money to auto workers? BOTH Democrats AND Republicans are screwing us!

  • creepy looking dude.

  • So americans who voted for Obama drive jap cars.yes we lose our lobs yet we drive jap cars what are we doing people.......Obama should not have to solve this problem.. you guys Obama= american.... but yet your driving a a car that is what everything we against

  • undeadnow: If American automakers want us to buy their cars, then they shouldn't manufacture high-priced, high-maintenance, unreliable, ugly crap. I was fooled FIVE times into buy American junk. NEVER AGAIN! My Toyota has over 260,xxx miles now, and it still runs like new.
