Jah Wobble amazes me, after enjoying the complexities of the likes of Del Palmer and Geddy Lee bass work, Jah manages to groove out some really hypnotic funky reggae like riffs that in essence are rather simple in comparison, but try replicating his feel and sound on the bass and it's not as simple as it seems in either technique or tones. Listening to him probably helps cure diseases!
Can you picture or hear johnny (wine wine)rotten at womad or grooving with the ladies like in the sun also rises in pink light with sequinned wobble and the big drums and lovely ecstatic crowd dancing happily, sorry, nada
amazing artist all around. Most underrated for sure. Hope to see him soon in the states
