Way to go man! I am doing a little trail connecting myself! Only some of the big trails don't allow horses so since I can't ride the appalachian I have to make my own trail on that one. Maybe we'll run into each other in the future.

@maddox019 Hike your own hike, buddy. If you plan in doing 6875 miles in a couple hundred day, I dont think you are going to get it done by a slow pace and taking in every vista for 20 minutes.

@maddox019 People would say the same thing to us on the PCT, and I would explain that it is not possible to hike fast enough to blur the scenery and you don't miss anything. If you are talking about taking a break, you do that too, even when you hike 40-50 miles per day. Thanks for watching and for your comment.
