En donde puedo conseguir esta película? deseo agregarla a mi colección de - - -películas favoritas. Si alguien me puede decir, lo agradecería muchísimo. Es muy divertida.
I saw this movie a few years back on TV. TCM I think. Anyway, it was not academy award material, but it was a decent enjoyable movie. I could live without it, but would like to see it again, or buy it, but there is no way I am going to pay $36 for it. I thought supply & demand worked the other way? There can't be too high a demand for this movie. If there was, obviously the movie studio would print up another batch. So, why so damn much $ for it?

I would love to have a dvd of this movie. I was an extra in the movie when they shot in Boston. They needed roller-skaters to dance in front of the Hatch Shell on the Esplanade. Funny enough, I never saw the movie myself! Could just send me a link to where I can order it?
I have been searching for this movie (for sale or for rent) for a very long time. I remember watching it on cable many years ago. Pavarotti made the character he was playing endearing because he is the character! If anyone can advise where to get a copy of this movie, please post info.
My god he was such a cute teddy bear in the movie. So cuddly and so cute. I guess I really do love the chubby guys because I just want to hug and kiss him. The Maestro lives in my heart forever.
i think luciano is very sweet here in the movie. never mind that the acting is not perfect. he is just very very sweet, and i love to see him acting and speaking too, because he had a wonderful face, a wonderful expression on his face, and very calm and sweet voice when he speake.
Luciano's speaking voice was adorable...as was HE! I knew him & loved to hear him speak as well as sing...he was a teddy bear and very sweet and humble.
I have the movie and I love it. I think it is hilarious. And really, I don't feel that he's acting when I watch it, that is my criterion for a good actor. They could have come up with something better for him, but this is what we have and I cherish it.
Ebay did have the movie if anyone is interested. I think I only had to pay 11 dollars for mine. Used
It's worth for the comments! You have almost the same opinions as mine.
Pavarotti said, they should have to make his character whether exactly like him or complete opposite. They made something between. Well, but I love it anyway! :)
Luciano Pavarotti himself didn't like the movie. He said the producers had very good taste for the production, but not for the script. He said they tried to make his character similar to him, but they only did this in superficial, unimportant ways. He would never throw food at anyone, according to his own words, and he thought that making the movie was one of the mistakes of his career. I think the movie isn't that bad, and there are good professionals, but the music is 99,99% of this movie.
He sings Nessun Dorma twice at the end of the movie and they are both fantastic, as well as every other performance of his. If someone is able to post them here, I think that would be great and so many people would appreciate that too. That car is not a taxi, but his own Rolls Royce, as she ask, for that, if he is a "mafioso".
I saw this in the 80's and totally loved it. I like the sequence when he is in a taxi with a nun who pretends not to know who he is so he has to sing for her.
I also remember what he said about how tenors are treated in Italy. i would love to see it again.
It's worth to put in here a videos like that, if people like them. :)
Actually my opinion about this film - very good, entertaining and funny film, of course Pavarotti isn't the best actor, but it's very rare to see him in movie. I love it.
I loved this movie.Everybody made fun of me because I did. lol

I've read his book "My World", I know all that, but anyway - I love the movie, just because of him. ;)

Thank you so much. I love Pavarotti and I love 'Yes Georgio' His performance of Nessun Dorma in the film is extraordinary to say the least.
