Closeouts, exactly, You have to travel North or south to Manasquan. I went to Island Beach State Park, NOBODY was out accept two or three surfers. The Sandbar is more dense and the waves were much better. search for outcroppings i.e. Manasquan is the only and the best.

if u found the right spot in nj it was great i heard sea isle city nj was 10 feet and peeling that never happens manasquan was just great
