Haflingers *are* incredible. I never though I'd have one (before I had an Arbian-X and a Q) and now I ´do have one and I have never seen such a charming, cuddly horse with such personality before. There's my Haf and two other horses I ride, one of them being a Haf as well, and I think Hafs are like Dachshounds, one of those things you never really consider and when you've had it once, you stick to it.

applejackpooky, what kinda dumbo are you supposed to be?? Haflingers often have a lot of Arabian in them, more so and more often than any other ponies. They are very pretty ponies. My first horse was mostly Arabian&one of the horses that I ride is an Arabian,and the other horse I ride besides the one that I own is a Haflinger,just like mine is. There are gorgeous Arabians and gorgeous Haflingers. And when compared, then the less pretty horses are more often Arabians.

I have 3 registerd Halflingers and my favorite is Nick who is a 13 y/o gelding who will do anything I ask and is very similar to yours. Our favorite thing though is trails riding he's especially adept at that. But the horse show judges love him too. Is it a great breed or what?

i lease a "linger" (thats what my barn calls them) and my friends leases my haffy's sister. We ride them all the time in the pasture and one time we fit 5 girls on the back of my haflinger's , Mallory, back. She didnt mind one bit i love her so much!! <33

Wow - that picture of you jumping the oxer (looks about 4 feet at the back?) bridleless and sadleless is amazing! You must really trust your pony, that's really cool to see. I don't think i've ever seen someone do that before. Haflingers are gorgeous =)
