First listen it sounded to me like a supermarket type rip-off tune, the type you hear in Asda when trying not to spend too much money but on further listens its actually a pretty faithful and good tight version of one of my favourite Specials tunes.

Kasabian..! Great band! Specials..! Great band! They are obvoiously covering it because they like the song and respect the band. It's not a bad cover and it's in their own style which is the correct thing to do.

I agree the Specials version is by far the best and remians a ska - classic by a legend - ska band. Check out the original it's awesome!

I'm not gonna slate it, the guitar solo was excellent, won't go into reasons why i wont listen to it again, am thankful that such a successful modern band has potentially turned a hell of alot of people onto The Specials who did the original because they're legendary!

Almost like a carbon copy of the original, only lacking the energy. Creatively, nothing has been added whatsoever. Alright, they may be doing it out of respect (and fair play at least for having a decent taste in music), but it sounds like they're taking the piss. Besides, you're not going to cover every song you like, so why pick one you're going to do nothing with? Makes no sense artistically.
