Would anyone know if it is possible to adjust the sensitivity of the EXP Switch (The button found beneath the expression pedal which you activate by pressing down hard with your toes on the pedalt). On my gt-8, if I even just lightly touch it with the pedal, it toggles the switch and this is highly irritating. Is there a way that I could adjust this so that I would need to press down much harder onto it?

It sounds better if your hearing is good, if you have bad hearing from years of playing really loud you might think the GT8 is better (which it isn't)

Turn your volume knob off when not in use. You don't get the nasty sound. Other than that, try a compressor, a noise gate, or turn the distortion down.

Turn the volume knob down can be really annoying when you're playing live.

A compressor will only make the crap noises even crappier. Turning the distortion down isn't a solution also. Try buying a noise gate or a noise suppresor, these can be really helpful and they're really cheap.

the prblem with the demo vids is that they SHOW WHAT THEY CAN DO,,, but they don't show HOW THE HELL u can do these things.... like i got the BOSS GT-8 recently,,, and i'm learning how to use it slowly... u need someone who knows how to use it and u can ask them the questions,,,manuals can be missleading sometimes...

what do you mean will you have a problem to connection or sound...I have an Mg100 and my mate has an mg30, he brought round his ME-50. And it sounded like it had just came from hell. His brother has this pedal, and its the 1 that I want...Trust me it will sound good, and it depends on what guitar and pickups you use aswell

Dude I reccomend you to buy a jackson!! THE BEST!! I have about one or two months to tune my guitar and is still in tune!!!!Way much better than Ibanez and BC...trust me!

hey man yeh i no. I have a Red Jackson DK2M Dinky. I chaged the guitar and made the strign closer to the neck, so I didnt have to push down as hard and so i could get harmonics easier. Properbly the best guitar I hav ever played

I have one of these--you really don't need to use all this haha. I dunno, what I like about it is it's insanely portable, easy to use, and theres rarely an effect that I can't get. actually, I've never encountered an effect that I can't simulate with this. I can also make techno with the wave simulator, and we ALL know that's the most important aspect of an effects pedal.

if gt8 is best of the world the this no can affirm. but for me it is very practical therefore I have used many different effect the cost benefit is excellent.how much it would not pay to have some independent pedals. other pedaleiras of the market as the pod xt has resources that they surpass gt8. gt8 possue all the pedals of boss. the only claim is how much the distortions. but nothing that a simulator of amp cannot decide. I recommend to the purchas.excuse for the English.

the difference is the versatility and praticidade of a pedaleira the timbres are faithful. it is enough to learn to regulate it

you don't have to change any settings if you want to change your sound between two songs on the gt8. just create your sound at home, save it to a bank, enter the name of the song for example and stomp it. no need to turn any knobs...pretty good for concerts:) aaand if you buy single pedals and what as many sounds as you can get out of the gt8 that will cost you a whole lotta more cash!!! i got the gt8 since about 2 years and i love it!

i can't answer that question for you. if you found the sound that you want/need and don't have to change your sound settings during a live performance several times i seriously think there is NO need for you to buy the gt-8.

you can do way more efects...it sounds the same...but your not buying em separatly say you wanna get all the effects dat are on the gt8 but separately...then youd have to get like atleast like 16 or sth pedals...and datll cost a fortune...but the gt8 is saving you a lil money...and its not a huuuuuuuge pedal

I gotta tell you kklmjk, I spent an hour screwing around in a guitar shop with the BOSS pedal display, and couldn't get as good a sound as that GT-8! I love 80's metal, but it seems you can't get that sound with just pedals - maybe with a high dollar tube amp?

i got a gt-8 today and it owns. it took me all day to get used to the controlls and how everything works. the sound quality it brilliant. if anyone looking for a multi effects pedal i would highly reccomend it. not too expensive either, well worth the money. x )

zoom G9 and G7 has amp channels too, plus G9 has TWO expression pedals and the interesting pedal in the G9 is the Z pedal, which can pe turn horizontally and vertically...

yeah i bought it too. id say its a great processor, doesnt bullshit around. jsut gives the most general effects well nothing too crazy. its fuctionality is awesome can use my amps preamp and switch to gt-8 so easily using the loop function and fx chain.
