  • OOPS! Looks like the driver of the 2nd Engine forgot to check all the compartment doors before leaving. It's not like that's never happened before to any professional Firefighter LOL

As we say in Canada on the Toronto Fire Dep't., shit happens.

  • @46fd04

in southtirol there is a law for firefighting vehicles like those 2, that you must have a signal lamp and signal sound in the cockpit, which sounds when a compartment is not closed and you want do drive away

  • @46fd04 I must say I noticed the same thing...the CFA (Australia - VIC) we have senors on the doors that tell us if a locker is open

  • @46fd04 sometimes we do it on purpose when it is really cold. We check that everything is secure but leave it open so it doesn't freeze shut. That locker has our hosereel in it so if that one is never frozen shut we can always use it.

  • @MrIank1989

    On error: 1.

What a stupid statement to make " Blasting the siren while people walk past...this could be quite dangerous (eg. if somebody has a heart condition). If this was the case Fire Appliances would be going around silent. So does this mean everytime a Fire Appliances passes a person on the street it has to turn its siren OFF in case the person has a heart condition???

  • @MrIank1989

And also if you notice in the video as the driver is waiting for the door to lift (without siren) some idiot walks right in front of the Appliance....hence why siren is used. This method is used by Dept's all over the world where station's exit out onto a street.

Dublin Fire Brigade are 100% professional Firefighter / Paramedics

  • The reason you cannot see the strobe working is because of the slow frame rate on the camera. It is not in sinc with the strobe triple flash

  • locker open... very unprofessional... typical dfb!

  • @traineespark if you ever have a fire in your house, I trust you'll stand by your words and not call the dfb and sort it out yourself

  • @Nikon05 As a fire fighter myself i'll take care of it.... thanks for your concern

  • @traineespark good stuff. why does dfb waste personnel by sending more than one person to fires, so stupid.

  • @Nikon05 yeah glorified ambulances is all they are.... or ambulance chasers... whatever u wanna call em....

  • @traineespark alot of irish ambulances are very unprofessional as well. people should learn to take care of themselves

  • @Nikon05 id agree there,,,,, Irish health board ambulances is the worst organisation ever... They go to an RTA, realise that they need fire brigade because of entrapment.... so have to wait 10 - 20 mins as 90% of irish fire service is retained.... Rubbish

  • @traineespark Could be worse, it wa sonly half open and on the bottom is only the hose reel and it cant really go anywhere !

  • It's good that the door was still closed, didn't you see that guy on crutches (sp?), who would be in fault if the driver had overrun that guy?

  • Trust me, he wouldn't have.

  • ładny samochód ;;0 wery nice car:(_)

  • Strobes a bit all over the place alright!

Appliances parked so they car exit either side of the station on Pearse or Townsend Street depending on incident location.

Appliances exiting one door as the other 3 are being used for turntable ladders etc.

Dennis is nice to drive although electrics are a joke but Dennis is not doing fire appliances anymore so DFB now have bought several Scanias.

  • nice turnout shame the door had to close as it approaced lol

  • i am a fire man

  • Except for the unclosed toll compartment, nice turnout. I am a big fan of Dennis. I wished more fire brigades in Germany would decide for Dennis.

  • on the 1st truck that came out there was ony 1 light flashing why?

  • camera probably wouldnt pick it up, low megapixels !! probly i dunno y else

  • obv the othere one is broken

  • this is the main station in dublin and they have limited space and a wide variety of appliance so they tend just to have them out the back then just run and jump in.

  • Haha the shutter left open lol..

  • love that siren its so friginloud lol all the better

  • my son watches this he is 2 it keeps him quiet

  • Good old DFB, the Professionals!

  • sombody has dont closed the shutter!

  • LOL des G5 ist offen haha

  • it was broken went to the garage after turnout!!

  • and thats why everything is clipped or tied

  • ouch the locker was open lol

  • Great video! Shame about the shutter open though!

  • Very nice video!

  • i guess that they dont get alot of structures and ran out as fast as possible forgeting the locker was open

  • Doubt this was a strucuture as the TL is still sitting there happy surely TL would leave for a structure

  • British TLs rarely turn out on the first call unless the caller states that it is a tall building.... If they don't then it wont go unless requested by the incident commander.

  • Depends whether or not it is needed.

  • Did they realise that the rear locker was open.

  • Yes, when they arrived on scene and found all their gear was gone ;P

  • Lol, nagh its just cause we've done it a couple of times. Easy to do if you've been working around the appliance and then gone off to do something else.

  • they were probably having a drill because if you noticed they both came out of the same bay
