Actually one 'atom' and one 'ion' since losing an electron would make that atom a 'positively charged' atom hence ion - I'm saying ion instead of an atom b/c losing an electron also deals with stability making it an unstable atom (ion)

You could also use a multiplexer with your transmitter and receiver to produce multiple functions. Then you can tell jokes and get cheers or jeers. Fun stuff!
