correct me if i'm wrong, but even though i think most of the glitches MrGrunz do are cool, i think that he uses TA by running an emulator really slow, so it is easier for him to not screw up. also i'm sure there are plenty of savestates and re-recordings happening here. *TA (tool assistance)

Best storyline of any Zelda game, even if it isn't the best. Beats wind waker and all those lame cartoon games, as well as all the gameboy zelda games. Not as good as link to the past, ocarina of time, or any of the "mainframe" zelda games though.

nope, you can tell from the colours of the buttons. the gamecube verson has a green and a red button.

Most games are like that, there are some exceptions however. But if you play a PAL games on the N64, or older consoles, it will run 16.67% slower than the US version.

ironight21, the story of what happened to Navi could be a nice game. ...Except maybe this time she's lost her voice (she can still turn colors to warn you of enemies and such) and she accompanies the hero/heroine (maybe Zelda?) as the two try to save Hyrule or some other land. Near the end Navi gets her voice back (not so annoying this time) and beats back an enemy, finally becoming a human (Hyrulian) at the end. She leaves to go find Link, just passing him some place (Termina perhaps?).

I think a lot of people would. Navi may have been annoying in OoT, but a few tweaks and she can be a real likable character. I don't see why Nintendo hasn't done a game on Navi yet to tie up the lose end of her leaving, but I guess it wouldn't take a lot of effort seeing as how I, a mere fan of the LoZ series, came up with that little idea myself in about 4 minutes.

I have to agree though, I would play it as well if enough effort was put into the game.

my speed run is played on a console

his run is played on emulator called muppen64 rerecording.

you play the game slowed down, so you have a lot more time to react and can optimize much more.

in a TAS you also use save stats. when you mess up, you simply load a save stat and go on from the point before you mess up.

you need no skill to create a TAS, just a huge knowledge about the game!

tool-assisted means, that you played the game with slow dame, frame advance and save stats. TASes doesn't use cheats, but they are played completely different than non-TAS runs. non-TAS runs are played on a normal console in real time

If you mess up in a TAS, you simply load a save stat before you messed up, so you can re-do that part.

TASes are just made for entertaiment purposes
