  • Your movement is too jerked. You use the dumbells like it was an actual axe, which is wrong.

    The movement needs to be slow and controlled, especially during the downward/lowering phase. IF you jerk exercises like you do in this video, there's a risk of injury - here in lower back and shoulder.

    Like how you chop wood? Real slow and with no power? Looks awkward I get that but this movement won't hurt your back if you dont already have problems and you are reasonable about weight you use. Additionally, If you take your approach you better go ahead and resign yourself to wheel chair.
