    wrong ingredients,

  • @wward35634 this is one of the illest lines ever and also the most unvrsally misintepreted...he says "Ivan Volkoff, rushin to finish that album" Ivan Volkoff was an eighties wrestling character who played a russian...so 'russian' to finish that album.

  • this is the best song on here i am white and it speaks to me

  • I remember when this album was released. Still to this day it speaks to me.

  • If I were an English teacher, I'd seriously create a lesson plan around this. This is real, beautifully articulated life in disenfranchisement.

  • This shit is real.

  • outkast church. go

  • I listened to this whole album last weekend heading to my birth place in Georgia. That whole drive I just went into that deep thinking trance. Am I living my life right? Could I have done things different? What will i leave behind when I am gone? Man, this album just gets to me , into the deepest chambers of my soul. Just seems to lift you not only physically but spiritually as well. And this is coming from a Metal head. I will always buy any Outkast album that come out because of ATLiens

  • perfect song for ridin around at like 3 in da morning. listenin to the lyrics...lookin at da starz

  • OutKast is gonna go down in history as one of Hip-Hop's greatest MC's. I guarantee it.

  • And! Greatest Hip Hop Duo/Group!

  • you say that like OutKast is a singular person.

and its their vibe and funk that are legendary, not necessarily their MC skills.

this is an all-time classic tho, no doubt.

  • big boi straight murdered that last verse. "Thinkin its all about your clothes, nigga its all about yourself, the way you feel about your life, the times that you done shared with your friends and family." Being a white kid from the suburbs, im blessed to have heard hey ya on the radio back in 03 because i would have never listened to Southernplayalistic, ATLiens or Aquemni that was a big crossover song of this generation sorta like run dmc/walk this way.

  • u could be in a bad mood wit ur friend of brother and hear this shit and it makes u just wanna apologize and work whatever out because it makes u see the bigger picture

  • i bought my fifth copy of this album the other day 3 tapes 2 cds in the history of it. they bull at the counter was like outkast really been out that long i just looked at him and paid and walked out i mean im only 21 but these young cats is destroyin the game hip hop aint start cus of rims and fat asses in the titty bar it started as a way to uplift ourselves and speak some truth we couldnt other places and we hardly got that anymore

  • Everyone goes through that man.

I can't agree with you more.

But all we can do is sit back and watch.

  • i feel u bruh, im 21 but i feel like a old school cat cus i kno real music

  • This song was so prophetic. How many clowns are floating face down in the mainstream today? Too many to count.

  • another awesome chapter of Hip hop ever talented boyz...big respect.

  • this album is a true hip hop classic. so underated. pity more people haven't listened to it.

  • yea man, Outkast is all i used to when i was younger. It's a shame what has happened to southern rap since Outkast.

  • I wish our people (black folks) would listen to stuff like this...music that makes you think instead of dancing and acting like damn fools. They are the true kings of the south.

  • Co-sign. Straight and to the point.

  • make that ALL people

  • @triciadpeterson I wish EVERYONE would listen to this.

  • @triciadpeterson I agree with you 100 percent. You need niggas like Outkast, Lupe Fiasco, and other Real rappers. I can't stand that dancing shit with no lyrical content whatsoever.

  • @mhollo123 well, that music is out there... its up to the people themselves to choose the one they wanna roll with... its there, aint up to the artists to tell em what to choose... its all about getting paid for most of them... they please the crowds!

  • @triciadpeterson try classical.

  • @triciadpeterson not just the black folks, all the knuckleheads out there need to try to live at a higher level

  • @triciadpeterson YOU CRANK DAT SOULJA BOI. haha fuck that shit...

  • @triciadpeterson

dude i live in iceland and 2/3 of every person between 12 and 30 acts like you described.

  • @triciadpeterson

Ah, but remember when Goodie Mob said 'They Don't Dance No Mo' because everyone was on some hard sh*t? I think it's all about perspective - when you point out shit is wack people say "It's club music". When did '"club music" all of a sudden equate with stupidity? I used to dance to BUMPIN' shit that had lyrics, too.l..people need to step up with higher standards...

  • @triciadpeterson wait you can't have a dance song?

  • @triciadpeterson Who needs this when we have Lil' Wayne....shame! The club stopped being fun ages ago.

  • this song bring back so many memories (96)

  • This is a bomb azz song....Wayyyyyyyyyyy underated. A superior song!

  • @meccadon Totally agree!
