  • Awesome video, I am still a tech newb and have just upgraded to Invader 45's with a brass knuckle boot. They are stiff as out of the box, so I will have to have a play, havn't skated them yet. I am having an issue where the back left wheel on the right skate is not touching the floor when sitting on a flat surface. Anything I can adjust to stop it? Or they just need breaking in

  • @battlestarsmashtica That is a known problem with some of the early batches of black Sure-Grip DA45 trucks. From what I have read on southernskater and skatelog, they will work just fine with weight on them. If it bothers you, however, call the vendor or Sure-Grip.

  • Thanks for the video, it was helpful to a newbie like me. I purchased some new skates a month or so ago. They have felt loose (i'm 6'2, 250lbs). I used this video to help me adjust my skates. All four pivot pins (2 skates) were loose I found.

  • Thank you for posting this. It is very helpful.
