@shadownoize you should probably use something like odin or Heimendall to completley reset your phone.

I Had To Fix Some Things Myself, Deleting Programs, And Etc.

After That The Computer Reconized My Captivate Again, And I Finally Did It lol

@WOLFTAYLORS as far as i know no AT&T phone will ever be 3g or 4g compatible with t-mobile when unlocked due to different GSM frequencys but EDGE, calls, text and everything else should work just fine.

@dcquikson also make sure your antivirus doesnt interfere with the procedure as it might think that the rage exploit is intended for your computer and delete important parts of it that will not let it function.

Hello all I have just had a captivate android 2.2

I rooted and unlocked it.

rageagainstthecag did not show up so I just left it on auto and rooted it.

Tried for 3 times to allow non market apps (by rooting again before every try), it did not go thru. So I just wanted to see if I need it or not. Then took the unlocking steps and it did work now I have an unlocked captivate with android 2.2

@AF1559 you only need that if you download apps from 4shared, blackmart alfa or anything like that for free apps ;) you dont need to reroot you probably just got the wrong version of super oneclick root you should have version 1.7
